Yeah , that video is from Freelancer bonus DVD. I suggest everyone to download that DVD , there is bunch of Freelancer Artwork and ideas that were never included in game due to Microsoft pushing to finish the game.

one thing to notice is that the artwork and the concept art of freelancer is MUCH MUCH more sophisticated than the result ingame. - the ingame ships look conservative - and by far not so stylish. the concept art ships are more like manierism - elongated spikes, curves and surfaces. - we would call some of the concept designs to be "not FLish" if we did them for disco :)
