"With the aid of Director Corraine, from the Liberty Security Force, we've managed to gain access to the media file that was locked within the system. It's... a video clip... showing what looks to be some kind of disk-shaped starship firing a weapon into the planet's atmosphere, though the interaction with the clouds below is quite unusual for weapons fire. Unfortunately, out of context, I have no idea what this video represents. Perhaps there will be additional clues in the text files, once we can get those translated."
"I've used what little downtime I had available to translate one of the outsourced text files; the video we recovered from the database has spurred me to discover just what it is, and I think I might know. The text file translates to:"
File #002
Status: TRANSLATION COMPLETE
"This has to refer to the video file, the timestamp is nearly the same, only a little before what was recorded. This species, the Naurians, apparently hadn't left their own world yet, for whatever reason - the technologies recovered from the excavation site here, as well as others, indicate that they might well have been technologically advanced enough to do so, but perhaps they chose not to? Regardless, they were certainly surprised by this arrival. At the moment I can only speculate as to what species arrived in the skies of ancient Nauru, but my gut tells me it was the Daam K'vosh, there have been no signs of any other alien civilizations in Sirius to suggest otherwise."
"Translations have been completed thanks to my community outreach project, and we now have a more clear picture of what has happened here. I've submitted my Thesis Paper to The Core, AP Manufacturing, and Cambridge University."
"With all of this finally finished, I'm eager to return to my usual post. The Ailuros is scheduled to rendevous on Nauru within the hour to pick me up."
