Think you can stop diamond flaw into kusari is little bit naive. For one stoped train there are 10 passed without any problems. If you want change it , you must start with complete blockade of kusari borders.... all jumpgates, all jumpholes. But that is totaly imposible because you must defeat KNF but that is quiet hard isnt it?... one can say imposible for unlawfull groupe. Maybe with help of Bretonians but well they arent even able to defend their own borders against KNF, not to make invasion into Kusari. So your only option is defeat GMG in sigmas but that is also imposible because they were able to defeat whole militaristic house, how can small unlawfull groupe fight with them? Event if dragons win war with GMG what happen than?... same hour when they start celebrate, RM invade sigmas and than gods protect you because both states, Kusari and Rheinland are military machineries, put them togeather and you have unstopable monster.
I think defeat of GMG is unacceptable for Bretonians and Liberty too because what can be worst than destruction of stability and open aliance between Kusari and Rheinland? I bet Bretonians do everything in their power to stop that... they pay even highest posible price for keeping status quo... surender in Tau31. That free KNF forces stucked here for dealing with Dragons once for all and GMG stay safe... GMG the "fence" between Rheinalnd and Kusari.

By this reasoning, Liberty should stop attempting to prevent the import of cardamine, Hessians should stop attempting to prevent the export of diamonds, and Kusari should stop attempting to prevent the export of plutonium to Bretonia...
While one may not be able to stop all such trade, one can have a significant impact on it. Even one trainload of diamonds less can mean one wing of Chimeras with no guns, one factory unable to operate due to lack of cutting tools...
Also, GMG in no way supports the diamond trade. So long as Dragons do not endanger GMG bases or personnel, they are free to pursue their interdiction of commerce wherever they feel necessary.

this is out of context and have nothing to do with text above. Liberty have capacity to block all JG and most of JH, same for kusari... only hessians havent but they arent doing real blockade of diamond flaw. Their actions against diamond trade are generaly propaganda "uh look we did it haha trade was stoped for few hours".

yes but this efect come after realy realy long time, Im sure kusari have reserves of guns and much more diamonds in storages (1 bigger diamond can be in fact optic for 5 or more guns). Are Dragons able to keep blockade equaly long time, I doubt.

not directly but they need kusari to protect them against Rheinland, and Kusari without guns cant even protect themselves. Also counterattacks of KNF against dragons doing blockade should and it will cause many battles in sigmas so near to their mining facilities and that is unacceptable.
' Wrote:Diamonds themselves don't exactly aid the economy, they are just a bunch of shiny rocks and I doubt their going to be fighting many wars in the showcases of private collectors on Tokyo. They are only given power by the value placed on them, it's Kusari's weakness to admire useless rocks for ornaments and accessories (except for weapons production like you said)
If you'll look into the use of diamonds, they make the tips of Drill Bits, some hammers, saws, and the like. Basically, anything that has to be harder than something else to cut it, that material is tipped in diamonds. Furthermore, if you'd look at Kusari guns, they're Photon (Sunfrenzies). Diamonds may have something to do with refracting light, couldn't they?
Also, because there is such a high price for diamonds in the area, can't we assume that there is a high demand? No matter what they're being used for, they're being used to help the Shogunate. Enough justification for me...
