Now myself, i stoped counting polys forever ago, cause meh, im lazy, but! i found a tool that says it counts em for me, so i hit them copy and paist buttons, and bleh, it says for the Kusari Battleship/cruiser (if i recal its about as long as the vanilla kusari battleship, and about half as high) that it is made up of 9410 polys (doom was rather close, somehow i think he got his hands on me ships from the aforementioned but unnamed mod, perhaps i ought name it?) It has two models of turrets on it, 8 anti capital ship turrets, the ones with two barrels, four per side. The other turrets, have four barrels each, and thems for spewing little bits of hurtful metal at them littleships, again it has eight of them, four to cover the top hemisphere, and four to cover the bottom. The turrets in total add 6,944 polys with 464 polys for the larger (anti capital ship) turrets, and 404 polys for the smaller anti fighter turrets. This ship was not designed with disco in mind, heh, it started out as a blood dragon base if i remember (i should pester some of the old folks i was hob nobbing with when i started this one) now, if you were to see it mucking about in the lagoon, assume it would have 8 large scale turrets(i have no idea what class level disco uses) and another 4-8 small scale turrets. Now onto the Bretonian Carrier (yes it was designed to be a bretonian carrier) it clock in at a count of 12,610, doom was spot on *looks around for hidden surveillance devices* I remembers that the nilla ships clocked in in excess of 5,000 polys, and i remmebers a station or two hitting the 10,000 poly mark. It was intended to be a pretty big ship, about twice as wide as the Bretonian battleship.
That Rheinlander ship is the oldest, i think i actually started it back when i played disco O_o, anways yes, it clocks in at a mere 2146 polys, it had a planned 4 cannons 2 turrets, or 6 cannons, with one torpedo mount. its not too terribley big.
Now the dart and the arrow clock in at 2,228 and 3,028 respectively.
yes its the same name as a ship already in the mod (or it was, way back when i played) im sure though that the author wouldnt mind me stealing the name.
Now cause i never clean out my photobucket, i did manage to find scaling images for each of the ships, these aint been seen by anyone here, well, the vast majority of people here, a handfull has seen em before.
anyways here they be!
i do not have one for the arrow, but thats cause its just the dart with a little but more stuff, on it.
Now onto other stuff, i do make stuff for other games, very little of it do i release, or mention, but you can follow the link to the epic forums to see some vehicles i am curently working on for another game. If you dig, you can find all sorts of stuff for all sorts of things.
Mmmm textures is easy, im sure with a bit of elbo greese the solar panels on the kusari ship can be made to look nearly as good in game as it does in the renders.
Ill continue to put out renders in the 1440x900 format (16:9) cause i like to oogle them:P Less important renders (an exhaust port for example) thems be well, less important so thems is be smaller resolution.
Hrmm i probably ought get talking with the peoples in know about getting these shineys in the mod.

Mmmk, ill be blunt, it pisses me off to no end to have someone else edit my post, k i found the post about the images, dated a year and a few months after my join date, and several months after i was last active. now i did, and if i recall in the past have put in the caption a disclaimer that my posts are image heavy, they will always be. im not in a great mood, the images are hosted off site, and should not (i havnt looked at the forums image handling code so i couldnt know for sure) have an impact on discoverygc.com's bandwidth. I am half temped to follow the golden rule of images, and just cut mine up so that a single whole image is cut up into little bits well under that of , but why waste my creativity? Im not interested in creating something, then makeing a mockery of it by rendering it at an inadiquate resolution to see any of the finer detail.
I honestly dont understand why someone would balk at the size of the image. Its alien to me, to go to a place, to look at a ship, then balk at cause it cause you have scrollbars. Perhaps i need to have a more descriptive name, or some klaxons warning that it will take some time to view all the images i have to show. Im go to a performance here in a bit, hopefully when i get back, ill be right as rain.

Alright; to business- Now that you have returned, it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with a much, much larger community than the one you left back in the day & you simply have to comply with the rules we have.
I recommend that you take the time to peruse the pinned topics in most of the sections here on the forums when you see them, & not play the tempramental artist routine. Just simply resize your pics or link them before posting just like everyone else is required to do.

i had those models on my computer before you made this thread here.:P
Somebody posted them on Dev forums asking for them to be hardpointed...and poly count that i posted here is actual polys count from CMP files as milkshape counted them for me:)
