Not that I know many games, especially the newer ones, but probably the best racing game I ever played was Rollcage. Although I am unsure about how would it run on Vista (had problems on XP even), it was a great racing game - full of adrenaline, the vehicles were cool, power-ups, great speeds, multiplayer, some parts of the tracks were destructible... It is a very old game now, even older, than FL I think.. But still, if you havent heard about it, youd better check it out;)
