I am bit worried about their economy model after the game is released. With their bloated up team thanks to the ship sales, I have no idea how they are going to fund the game once it's released.
I frustrates me to no end that he gets credit for Freelancer when he was actively booted from the team for slowing down development.
How do you passively boot someone from a team?
As for Chris Roberts, it was his vision that got the ball rolling. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have Freelancer at all, so I feel like some credit is due.
As for Star Citizen, well, I can't say I'm not itching to give it a shot with the most basic pledge, but I can't really run it at the moment. Maybe after I get an upgrade.
It's still his idea Laz. The man (thinks he) lives among the gods. He would probably blow through a NASA sized budget, if he had access to one. He wants to make his dream real, to the point that he would set out to create an actual spacecraft to go with the game, if someone were foolish enough to provide him the funding.
