Glee Galore, welcome to our merry group, your application has been accepted. As an affiliate, your job is to deliver either one cargo of artefacts (just the regular ones) or black market munitions - your choice - to our people on New London. Don't get caught.
You can report your sucesful delivery through our internal channel.
<After a futile search for the Junker's main base of opporations after the 831 jumphole collapse, my crewmate Declan shot me the deets for y'all's operation. Figure my skill set might line up particularly well with your...uuh... business ventures.>
OORP questions
Are you aware we are RP and trade focused faction?
<I am.>
What is your previous experience with Roleplay?
<Some experience a long time ago in a forum similar to this one years back. Not super familiar with the ins and outs, but a big fan of group storytelling!>
What is your previous experience with Discovery Freelancer?
<Very little with Discovery Freelancer, but I am very familiar with the core game since I played it obsessively when it was first launched.>
Why do you want to join us?
<Not only do I want to enjoy playing the game I love with other people, I enjoy the smuggling aspect of the game in particular. I am also looking to build RP lore around my character and get involved with a faction that I can grow in and in turn help represent the faction to other Player Characters and be a good ambassador for the team and the game as a whole.>
Former junker huh? Well I guess there's first for everything. We could certainly use your kind's expertise in salvage and smuggling for some of our planned projects, but we also don't exactly have a good experience with junkers. I'm willing to give you the benefit of doubt, but don't expect our members to give you exactly a warm welcome. We're a forgiving bunch though, so do right by us and we'll do right by you.
Consider yourself accepted, miss Travers. You are now an Affiliate of the Irregulars. Your initial job is to get one transport's worth - that is, 3600 standard units - of counterfit computerware to planet New London. And please, get it directly from Lane Hacker bases, no second hand markets. This kind of product is sensitive.
You can report your sucesful delivery through our internal channel.
Oh, and, do remember we do not pirate other people, that's not your job anymore.
Well, Vaako Daelon Gaheris - damn that's a long name, I'll just call you Vaako, ok? Well, after a thorough deliberation I have concluded your Council history is an asset and not a detriment. Consider your application accepted. That makes you an Affiliate of the Irregulars. I'd recommend joining our private comms network, so you can get the up to date information on our business.
Your Affiliate task is to deliver either one large shipment of cardamine or artifacts (the regular kind) to planet New London, without getting caught of course. Report the delivery in our internal reporting channel to claim your bonus for the delivery.
Freelancer captain of the Pitbull-class vessel Zero Space specialized in blockade running(yes, that may sound counterintuitive, but Outcasts, who hired me to deliver Cardamine to Liberty all the while Malta was encircled by Corsairs, Hogosha and Corse would say otherwise)
Enemies we should know about:
Nomads. Apparently they like hunting down transports loaded with Iridium in Omicrons.
Why do you want to join us?
You seem to secure very lucrative contracts, from what I heard about you on Arranmore. Plus, grouping up is the only way for a Freelancer to survive in a long term, and I'm not intending to die young.
OORP questions
Are you aware we are RP and trade focused faction?
Yes, I am
What is your previous experience with Roleplay?
Discovery is my first RP, and hopefully it will be the last
What is your previous experience with Discovery Freelancer?
Was part of UN| and GMG| back in 2020. Currently trying to diversify my character pool
Why do you want to join us?
I mostly focus on in-game RP, so I reckon MRI is a good place to learn forumlancing
Interesting. So we're gossipped about on Arranmore? And here I thought the recent Corsair fueled drama would be the hot topic. Eh, nevermind. Your application is accepted, you are now an Affiliate of the Irregulars. Do me a favour though, and don't get caught in that Pittbull. I hate explaining stuff to the law.
On that note, your Affiliate task is to get a full shipment of your run of the mill artifacts to our people on planet New London. We seem to be nearly out of stock. Report the delivery in our Internal channel, and I'd suggest joining our private NeuralNet space, so you get tall the information.
That's not a lot of information to go by mr. Handrix, but I guess we all have our secrets. Consider yourself accepted, you are now an Affiliate of the Irregulars, and since our warehouse is running low on ammo, your affiliate task will be to deliver one full shipment of Black Market Munitions from New Berlin to our people on planet New London.
You can report the successfull delivery in our Internal channel. Be carefull though, we've noticed an increased activity of the authorities in New London system.
