Val sighed as she glanced back at Leo. "Call it habit, I suppose. Never hurts to watch one's back." she shrugged as she tracked his eyes, noticing what he was looking at. Her eyebrow raised at his interest as she purposefully put herself more at ease. "A reminder of home, I suppose. I could go for that drink, though."
She thought for a moment, a new light of curiosity showing in her eyes, quickly reflected in the rest of her expression. "Do you ever miss it? Home, that is. Bretonia, in your case, I suppose."
"Naturally. I don't expect you to be easy-going so soon after you have been essentially a solo for a while now." Grey let out a muted sigh as his gaze bounced away onto the incoming waiter carrying their beverages on what seemed like a rather dull-looking platter. "Seems your wish is their comma-" Before Leo could finish his remark, the waiter put down Vapid's hot chocolate and his tea with some lemon slices on a separate small beige ceramic plate. Just as quickly, the bar's staff member disappeared back into the sea of other tables and people.
"Home, huh?" He trailed off briefly, looking out the window and observing the vastness of Theta before turning back to Valerie. "It has been a while since I've been back to Bretonia. Can't say I often yearn for the place. Though, the memories tend to linger, you know?" He flashed a faint smile, taking a sip of his tea soon after.
