I think you fail to see Titan's point about the prophets and ascendant thingies. What he's saying is that, as soon as they get infected/taken over by/joined with the Nomad, their humanity dies and the Nomad goes its merry way. It doesn't give a sh- about a collection of humans claiming to be Oracles or holy or whatever.

The Human gets infected, it basicly dies. Nomad uses its body to do what it wants to do. Simple as.

That's your opinion and point of view, Exile. Nobody can decisively say what happens to a human when he/she is infected, because such information was never revealed by the original freelancer developers/writers, and was never hinted at during the campaign. It's my opinion that the nomad merely takes control, trapping the human in his or her own body so long as it remains inside of that body - otherwise, nomad extraction from infected victims would not be possible, and that is a huge part of RP for groups like the LSF and The Order.

Most of the ideas that the oracles are based on come from either the shrine, the nomad lore, or various stories posted by nomad aligned players (such as Das wilde). If you have a suggestion on how we could change the workings of ascension/joining, please say so. Were nomad followers, so if Keepers don't like something then it would be counter productive for us to do otherwise.

Also, there is some hinting in the SP campaign...

Here it could be understood that the chancellor became willing after it was already done, then again it could mean the opposite. Its all in how you look at his wording.

Nice to see you guys back. Expect my LSF to awkwardly park behind your ships and just sit there, watching...

The nomad fully controls the actions of their host, but they try to appear to be human when they're in that state because they can manipulate humans easier that way. All that he says in the video is just the sort of thing you hear in every damn movie right before a bad guy tries to kill the good guy. So it's most probably the nomad controlling his actions, and trying to tell her that he's gonna give her more possibilities than she ever had, so to speak, by infecting her. Either way, if its based off the lore and the shrine, you should see that the humans are pretty much completely out of control once they get infected, locked up inside their own minds until they completely dissolve. And the nomads pretty much ignore all humans unless they're under attack or the humans are carrying other nomads, in which case they would attack that person. So if your ascendants are in morphs, and your prophets are infected, they wouldn't bother to stay there, they'd go straight for the bastion of nomad space, Iota, and remain there until their infection process is complete and they fully become nomads while the human body dissolves inside the nomad ship.

Nomad extraction...? That's the first time I've heard about that. And it's not just my point of view. It's that of the writers of the Lore which has been sort of accepted as Discovery canon by Igiss. I fail to see how this point has any room for your own thought.

I understand that, but in game independent nomad morphs fly all over blathering telepathically at humans. The point of this faction is (although it will likely never become an official faction of its own) is to provide an IN-RP environment for this to take place. As a result, many of said independent morphs have drastically improved their RP, even the ones who have not joined us. Were not just trying to start a new "nomad faction" here either, I strongly agree that there should only ever be one nomad faction. Think of us as a straw through which Keepers, and possibly Wild can "drink" new recruits, without spilling them all over your... tentacles.

As for dealing with humans, you would agree that the nomads have many uses for humans willing to help them. The newly ascended/joined nomad might not care, but the humans who have yet to be "gifted" would surely benefit from the guidance of the people they have known from the beginning of their journey to ascension. To see with their own eyes what the human they once knew had become, and what they could become themselves. Although, who's to say that the "human" they knew before is still really there? The one who now has an "Infiltrator" wrapped around his spine?

You catch more flies with honey.

But then again (to be honest) I've almost forgotten how to act like an oracle!

But yea. I do know what nomad morphs are a no-no until you reach a certain rank.

Thing is, nomads don't need to catch bees with honey, they have absolutely no interest in gaining human followers or infest them unless it serves a purpose to destabilize human governments and get them out of Sirius. Thus, the oracles would serve absolutely no purpose except to annoy people. But if you are really intent on this, my suggestion would be no more than 1 or 2 ascended ones. With perhaps the same number of prophets.
