Pirate Turrets!

i dislike this. it looks nothing like a FL gun.

Have you seen the zoner gunboat turret? Looks almost the same as this... looks like a cannon.

Personally...I dont really like it. But, improvements: new texture and put the actual gun closer to the stand.
Also, how many pollys on it? It looks very round.

I'm lovin' it , I really am. It would look a litle more freelancer-ish if the canon was a litle closer to the base. If it had a Rogue-ish texture it would look awsome too.

I agree, however it does look pretty damn epic! Though, at present it's gaining no power from the ship, thus needs to have some form of power supply connection, the mounting sides clearly aren't bulky enough or designed for this. |

A beautiful concept, but for some logic, it needs some slight revision.

But I digress, I adjusted the model a bit, made the mounts 'stockier', and gave it a power cable running up to the cannon:

Excuse, but that looks absurd. Especially for a space-game. Using the model of a 17th century cannon just doesnt fit at all.
