We already give (some) terrorists their own ships, don't see the problem with their own base. Maybe not a base for every terrorist, but maybe like an extremely unlawful Barrier Gate Station somewhere.

If terrorists are made self-regenerating, then I vote it only happens when offline or if they have not been in combat for a certain period of time. Maybe an hour or so.

Well , if terrorists cant dock anywhere , then yes , the should get some sort of regeneration. However, making them regenerate b/bs in the middle of fights seems like a really bad idea. As nighthawk said , if we were able to make it so that it wouldnt regenerate mid battle , then I'm all for it.

EDIT: I just remembered how much I hate the "specials". So , all racionality aside : NO! DEATH TO THE "SPECIALS"! LET THEM BURN IN A FIRE!!!

Well, at the moment I have one faction neutral to me (Not saying where I dock, to avoid people waiting outside) which is where all of my ships are docked.

Cost? Of course repairs would cost money, I'm fine with that. 4 hours is fine aswell. Or, you could just have the Regens regenerate, and the hull is repaired by using your regens. Again, it would cost, again I'm fine with it.

A base? Would be a pain, as we would need to make a new faction for the Terrorists, and even then would have to travel halfway across Sirius just to get to it...

Why not just apply this to all capships?

And you have to be able to dock somewhere, when you die you will have to respawn somewhere.

<strike>Instead of tying it into the Terrorist ID, why not tie it into an equipment, admin given that does the same job. It could either be a special shield, or some gun/ weapon mounted on one of the hardpoints.

This way you can still have normal terrorists, and those who self-repair for whatever reason</strike>

If it can be done in a way that it regenerates you while you're offline, that would be fine for me. But regenerating while you're online? Please not. Only if it can be made a way it regenerates you if you haven't shot a single gun for 15 mins. And of course, it stops when you shoot a gun.

like others have said, i think it should ONLY be when you are offline. not when you aren't shooting tho. i think thats part of the consequence of being a terrorist.

if the consensus would be ... :

"your ship regens to full ( no, not replenishes bats / bots and ammo, just health ) - when you ve been offline for 4 hours+ ( 8 hours straight for equipment that means - equipment only starts regenerating AFTER 4 hours being offline and takes 4 hours )"

i could live with it. - that adds no balancing problem, but only a bit convenience. regenerating on radiation, regenerating equipment in fights being online is a balancing problem.

we already made many compromises to the nature of "being ganked", "fighting against the odds" in the shape of better weapons, better ships etc. ( i know, i know - only applies to a few special chars )

and yes - something like that could basicly be applied to every char. - why exclude others when its just for convenience purpose.

hmmm.....

i could see where this could be useful, but wouldn't it limit you to only fighting one battle every 4 hours? whether you lose or not, you'll have to wait four hours to regen before you can play again. right?

With Mon'Star i've always RP'd giving the base the option of letting me land for supplies or facing the alternative (lots of pewing).

Regeneration may be doable in the way of a piece of equipment. I saw such possibility in FL but I didn't get around to testing it yet...
