nice comparison.

I've got the main body and some of the engine section done, nothing for a bridge yet though, and there will still need to be much detail added after the general shape is finished. Once I get the bulk of it complete I'll post some pictures.

I'd say make a unique design that you like. In RP it can pass as "Prototype" if it looks different than the others.

Here's some initial snapshots of the model, tell me what you think and what should be changed:

Right now there's 13 locations to mount turrets total:
1 hardpoint on the top and bottom of each 'column'
1 hardpoint on the top and bottom of the center 'hump' portion
2 hardpoints on the sides of the engines, rear-facing only
1 hardpoint just underneath the bridge

The idea is that the one under the bridge is a class 10 hardpoint, the rest are class 9 cruiser hardpoints. The big one under the bridge acts as a sort of 'forward gun', could mount a mortar or battleship razor there.

I... I actually kinda like the model itself.

You will probably want to make the engine sink a bit deeper just so It will look better with Rheinland engine effects.

Heh looks better than any of the current Rheinland caps.

Spikes? No. In Rheinland they dont need sharp objects, they bludgeon you to death with hammers.

looks pretty good sofar, but could you add some details to the Front.
Like the Battleship has this "hohle/clamplike opening" in the front of its brindge, or the Cruiser with the "bend-in" front.
And the front looks a little Phallus shaped right now, the rest of the hull is great.

Here's the model with textures... tbh, i'm not really happy with it... rheinland textures are a pain in the ass to work with, and even though I hate flying fighters in-game... I think I model fighters better than caps =(
