Mal didnt leave because zoners are getting shot at, he posted that thread because of WHY they're getting shot at. OORP information is being used to justify an in-RP response, that's called metagaming, and it has a tendency of creating a sour mood for everyone on the receiving end.

Hey, information has a habit of leaking out. God knows why people are blaming the QCP on this, they weren't the ones who set the bounty. For all you know it could have been a group of random mercs, and I KNOW nobody here would even bat an eyelid if that was the case.

@ n00blet: Ask Mal to check poster IPs then. He's a forum moderator, he can see them.

If you're going to post something along the lines of a flame, this is not the place to do it -- for anyone.

I've opened this topic in an attempt to explain that a number of people, who have experienced more than enough shooting and killing, are leaving the server due to what happened today. I want to discuss this issue, not to scream at one another.

Screaming at one another is exactly the OPPOSITE of what I am aiming at.

Don't any of you feel that if somebody like Mal, who has gone through all kinds of BS, has decided to leave, that this is an issue not to be dismissed quickly?

Mal was about to leave for the last three to six months now. He has been openly stating several times that he was dissatisfied with everything that was going on in this community. I believe this just gave him a reason to leave, all of you are making such a big deal about this as if this was the sole reason he left. It wasn't, ask him.

It still doesn't justify your argument in the slightest though, even if he was going to leave exclusively over this.
