' Wrote:Gallic trader, besides, the profits arn't actually that horrible on the lawful side. It just lacks the big bang of profit at each stop, meaning you have to do a load of runs, but they're short. [edit starts here] Besides, theres a load of zoners already.
I have a Gallic Trader and If you are looking to make 'big' profits on trade runs you wont. I have created mine for the RP and I am hoping as Gallia becomes more used (crosses fingers) there will be more and more of it. The trade routes are shorter but less profitable
Plus if the core systems open up there will hopefully be even more opportunites
Currently Gallic Corporations can venture into the Tau's and that is it, not that I intend too as I expect the GRN will shoot me as a traitor if I am seen doing business with outsiders or the council!
So go on create a Gallic trader it gets lonely up here!!!:(
Gallic trader. Stay in Gallia, or, if you're Council-aligned, Gallia and the two Gallic border worlds. You won't make a lot of profit, but there are worse routes, and I'm sure when the Gallic core worlds will be added, there'll be some decent trade routes as well.
But whatever you do - do not get yourself a Zoner Guard trader. Most people hate them, and for a good reason - they are, for most of it, completely ooRP. The Zoners are a bunch of ragtag refugees and other people who dislike living in the Houses, despite what all the lollernauts and lolwhales make them appear as. If you want to fly a Zoner trader and *stay* within RP, get a small freighter or *maybe* a Whale, but even then, only do supply runs from FPs to other bases in the edge and maybe border worlds, and - STAY OUT of House systems.
