The rules do not state the victor can order the loser around or not engage for 24 hours. But come on, put your thinking caps on.... what's to stop the loser attacking again and again and again?

I don't believe the victor should be able to order the loser around, unless perhaps they are in the victor's home system. But how about amending the rules so that, the loser must stay out of weapons range and not engage for 24 hr.
(By the same token, victor cannot treat it like an AVO.... He can't just sit outside a base and when the loser goes to dock, he's like "ZOMG YOU HAVE COME IN RANGE!!! REPORTING TO ADMIN FOR RULEZ VIOLATION ROFL!!!!111!!111!")
If you see anything mentioning leaving a system, obeying the killers demands or the 24 hour time limit that you are adamant is in the rules, then quote it here, or give a paragraph reference.

Sorry Onca, you posted whilst I was writing.
This time in question was about 1.30pm GMT when i was killed and the arguement began at about 8.00pm GMT. And we had both logged out and logged back in again before the new engagement. I hope you agree that common sense says that thats a new battle.
And as a side note, I don't know his relationship between Dab and himself, but when it comes to quoting his 'rules' he drops Dab's name in the conversation an awful lot.
Its a 3 death per battle rule.. Not per 24 hours. If you fight a battle, then die in mid-battle. Basically you cannot engage until a new battle has begun. That means fighting has stopped for a period of 30 minutes, or both sides agree its a new battle.
You are NOT required to follow the victor's commands. The only thing you are not allowed to do is firing on the person in any way. If you are shot on, you may fire back in self defense. But if you have died three times, YOU cannot re-engage.
So its 30 minutes now.... I admit I've never heard that one. Must be another of our "gentlemans rules". Ok I don't have a problem with that, but it means we're gonna be having this argument every time somebody new comes on the server. Maybe another poll is in order....
@Zepphos: np mate, 6.5 hours seems reasonable to me. BTW I wouldn't worry about some kind of collusion between Dab and Supernova... it wouldn't happen.
Super is mad because he got fined for breaking the rules.:P
But I said 30 minutes because that seems the minimum amount of time it would be between two different battles. If there are battles withing 10 minutes of each other, I would not call that a different battle.
Also some people seem to be under the interpretation that going into a different system and then coming back in negates their three deaths and they can reenter.. That does NOT mean you can reenter the battle. Its still the same battle..
