Seen a red Hessian with a Polish last name. some LPI too.

I'm trying to get a handle on Kusari events and politics so here are some Ku specific dates:

+other finds and research

65 Planet Kyushu settled, becomes primary rice producer.
100 The Yokohama shipyard begins producing Kusari Naval Forces ships, as it does to this day.
250 Catastrophic decline in ocean harvesting on Honshu, the second Kusari colony, causes settlers to search for alternative means of survival. They will eventually move off-planet to become the GMG.
300 Tau-29 discovered by a Kusari research expedition.
300 Shikoku-Tokyo Gate built.
300 Sigma-13 becomes GMG's primary gas production area.
321 Samura-backed coup d'etat in Kusari overthrows the Hideyoshi dynasty. Fleeing loyal royal guards found the Blood Dragons
330 GMG signs exclusive agreement with Samura for distribution of H-Fuel. Aomori Station, already serving as an equipment depot for Honshu miners working the lucrative oceans of gas in the Crow Nebula, becomes primary point of contact between GMG and Samura.
350 Samura constructs, the Osaka Storage Facility.
350 Deshima Station constructed to house itinerant foreigners, influenced partially by the strict New Tokyo entry requirements.
400 In an effort to curb overpopulation problems in New Tokyo, Kusari government begins offering huge corporate incentives to relocate operations to Kyushu. Samura decides to invest.
510 Kishiro selects now-fallow Honshu as the location for its main Optronics manufacturing facility.
521 After the Rheinland-Kusari Embargo; IC loses millions of credits as both Houses nationalize their Trade Lanes. The massive debts that those Houses incurred are wiped away, and the Trade Lanes become theirs. IC begins moving to cargo insurance.
550 GMG's initial survey of Sigma-19. After intense negotiations, the GMG signs an agreement with Kishiro to finance a Jump Gate to the system in exchange for mining rights.
600 Fuchu Prison moved from New Tokyo to Shikoku.
602 Shinkaku Station built to provide Samura access to the abundant ammonia, water, and oxygen ice fields present in the system.
603 Nago Station Constructed by Kishiro.
605 Beginning of the Eighty-Years War between Rheinland and the GMG.
620 Kurile discovered by the GMG. Samura eventually manages to construct a research platform on Kurile as part of an effort to harvest the microorganisms for use as fish food on Junyo -- an incredibly success initiative.
630 The impending collapse of fisheries throughout Kusari in 630 AS motivates the government to begin terraforming Junyo using recently discovered Alien Organisms in order to jump-start the nascent ecology. by 680 AS, the planetary environment had been sufficiently altered to begin wide-scale production of Luxury Foods.
642 Yuyu Matsuda, a young but critically acclaimed poet, publishes "Golden Chrysanthemum in Bloom". Charismatic and well-spoken, Matusda has a considerable following among young Kusari women who find their lives lacking in direction but are reluctant to become married and fulfill their traditional role in Kusari society.
648 Yuyu Matsuda is in the botched assassination attempt of the planetary governor of Kyushu.
650 Jump Gate to Sigma-19 is opened; Gas Miner Ogashawa stationed in the system by the GMG and begins full-scale operations.
668 GMG decisively defeats the Rheinland Imperial Navy at the Battle of Yanagi Cloud.
710 An amendment in the Sirius Commerce Pact in 710 allows IC to establish a base in New Tokyo; Roppongi is built shortly thereafter.
723 Battleship Nagumo constructed.
740 A Kusari ship hauling alien organisms across Tau-31 is attacked by pirates and ventures far off course. A hull breach kills the crew, and the ship drifts into the gravitational field of Harris. The organisms not only survive the impact, they flourish in the frigid, oxygen-deficient environment of the planet's surface.
784 The Dark Matter Storm arrives in Kepler, 104 years late. Among the major losses in the trade routes between Liberty and Kusari space were the McKinley (Universal), Nikko Maru (Samura), and Kamakura Maru (Samura). The storm destroys the old trade lane through the eastern part of Kepler
800 As Sigma-13 gas clouds near depletion, GMG moves to acquire new gas miners from Kishiro to make low-density mining profitable again.

I guess you could put it that way, but Like freelancer, i usually don't progress the years unless it has to do with my RP characters. I bet in some of the newest Bar Notices though, the date has changed.

Right...

The surviving French probably ended up on the Bretonia, perhaps the Hispania. The Austrians, Scandinavians and any non-Coalition Poles would be on the Rheinland. The Portuguese, Italians and any other Mediterranean based people would be on the Hispania.

We should also be making a Discovery-specific timeline here.. One for the mod, and one for this server's RP. For example; Nomads arrive in late-800 A.S.

Luciaden arrived approximately 760 A.S.

What would be added to Timeline dealing with the AW, other things would be added as well, would be;

802 Asgard Warriors are assembled
803 Phantom Terrorists appear. Asgard Warriors begins war.
805 Asgard Warriors provoke war with the Sirius Federation. (Only war WE provoked with SF:P)
806 Asgard Warriors and Sirius Federation sign Peace Treaty.
807 Imperial Guard and Asgard Warriors alliance formed.
807 Sirius Federation invades Tau-37, provoking another war with the Asgard Warriors.
809 Surrendering (debatable I guess) Sirius Federation forces sign peace treaty with the Asgard Warriors.

(There would be another 5-6 'Sirius Federation provokes war' lines in there too:P)

Each faction would be in there as well. We could have faction-specific timelines, or an over-all timeline devided with months to show the order things happened. Such as the IG-AW alliance was formed a few weeks in advance to the AW-SF war. In the RP, that would relate to a few months between them. In my opinion 1 week = 1 month in FL.

For the month concept, we would split Sirius into a galactic 12 months, since their galactic years still follow Earth time.

3-lines with month format;

802.4 Asgard Warriors are assembled.
803.7 Phantom Terrorists appear. Asgard Warriors begin war.
805.3 Asgard Warriors provoke war with Sirius Federation (Was SDF at the time btw)

802.4 would equal the fourth month of year 802.
803.7 is the seventh month of year 803
etc.

This would be Discovery RP server timeline only, and kept up-to-date on these forums. It would be somewhat seperate from Discovery mod RP, which is currently 803 or something right now.

If a Disovery timeline is going to be written, it should explain the rise of the "Guard" systems, the origins of The Wild, and of course the circumstances of all the new shipwrecks. In a future release the shipwreck info cards could be dated.

Would, the 80 year war not turely be the first atempt at nomad domination? That is the Vibe that I get, only the GMG squashed it instead of the order.
