"Excellent," said Spartacus as Petrucci got up to leave, " and thanks for setting this up. I'll contact the XO aboard the Custodiet and have the goods ready for you as you leave. I look forward to our next meeting."
After Petrucci and his entourage had left he turned back to Don Santini.
"Don Santini, we have nothing more we want to add to this meeting. It met all our hopes for an opening gambit with the Outcast nation and we look forward to meeting your daughter. Though we do need to arrange a time and place to meet. Might we suggest Freeport 9 as its a neutral location and close enough not to inconvenience you too much. The time we leave up to you so long as we have a few days notice."
Spartacus looked at Charles.
"Anything to add?"
Charles shook his head.
"So Don Santini, thank you for agreeing to meet with us once again. Hopefully we can meet again in the future."
With that, both OSI men stood up, gathered their belongings and left, pleased with the outcome of the meeting.
"I will get back to you as soon as I am able," Emilio responded as he stood up from his seat. "Freeport 9 is... a bit out of the way for us, but Tiana will have no difficulty getting there. She is a Mirage, after all."
With that, the two Outcasts also left the room and the station, the Don giving the dock worker a 5,000 credit chit before they climbed into the X-Shuttle. As the Wanderer took off, Ayumu commented, "They seemed more focused on me than on you."
"I don't believe even Tiana carries as many weapons as you were today. I could understand if they were a little nervous."
