It could be used to assist the larger mining ships in blasting rocks during mining parties.
Then slap a lot of mining turrets on it and wal-lah.

I think it's a wonderful looking ship, nice job;)
I was considering placing four class 5 turrets on it, but it'd be slow and not terribly agile.

Going along with my suggestion, I was assuming they'd be rather stationary and didn't need to be all that agile nor speedy ^^
How much cargo would this have? Perhaps it could be a new starter vehicle for players. Because new players spend most of their time mining... and if you have the cash, chances are you aren't waiting around to mine, rather trade which is more aesthetic than floating rocks.
It's not designed to be a solo craft, rather carried in the hangar of an Ageira/DSE Riftship and used to construct edifices in deep space. As such, low cargo, but would make a good escort miner, I suppose.

It doesn't fit well with the other utility ships. But the work looks good.
I'd suggest revising it with a more utilitarian design in mind.
It's also a draft, and Metasequoia is notorious for doing a pathetic job at rendering. But yes, it's going to get worked on.

Looks like some kind of ship that could assist in construction or mining...
actually a 'Worker' from Homeworld Cataclysm comes to mind...a multi use ship used for repairs, salvage, and mining operations
could work well as a multi-role ship
just pick something in the same naming convention as the CTE or Liberty lines (Like Gull or Rhino)
(codename) Multi-service support craft
Note to self: Reinstall gmax. I need to get some decent render-things of it.
