People pirate Zoners harder.

Zoners have limited routes.

These limited routes have lower profits compared to other routes, whilst offering the same danger.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

On the one hand, it can be said that in order to have no enemies, one must have no friends...

At various times I myself have questioned the value of an alliance with the Zoners. To be sure we get llittle more than a 'Hai-Bai' from many Zoners, and we might even get more out of an alliance with the IMG instead (leading to no end of acronym-based confusion;)).

Some in the GMG RP stream would consider the presence of Corsairs in Omega-49 to be a dangerous move - putting our traders at risk, and generally getting a little 'cosy' with our enemies.

But such is the Zoner way - when a party like Bretonia presses in on one side, the Zoners shift to the other.

There are, however, aspects to this relationship that are only starting be explored.

The GMG's Liberty envoy (Tsukai) bases out of Pennsylvania's Zoner population.

The ZAS has split away from the Council, and out in GMG space is moving towards joint paramilitary operations with us against slavers.

Ultimately, if an alliance is to be terminated it should be RPed out - not simply abandoned.

If the Zoners do not need us, then let them say so - be certain that if the GMG felt it no longer needed the Zoners we would have no hesitation in saying so - both in-game and here!

Well, the GMG are a little underplayed, well not underplayed, just more like... under... meh. They are like those "forgotten" factions in my mind.

If they get rid of an ally, they need some allies.
