Yes:)so they will be shot by the Navy and the Police, does not mean, they can not try. The Council invited them, noone said it wont be dangerous, but its not oorp, and with everyone shooting at you its far from powertradeing.
I think the risk of death would FAR outweigh potential profits in real life.
In the game, you can just respawn somewhere.
In real life, you might not survive; your lifepod might be tractored in and then you might be tortured to death.
I maintain that it's OoRP, because the risk of death is way too high for anyone to take.
space is big, if freelancer would be real, chances to find another ship at all would be next to nill.
Take a look at the Atlantic war, merceantmen were hunted by longrange bombers and submarines, as well as some warships.
If they were hit, they sunk most often, and in almost every case were not able to reach their destination and deliver their cargo.
A single bomb or torpedo was enough, and these merceant had no weapons to defent themselves at all.
But they still sailed, and most of them got trough,
sea was big.
' Wrote:If I'm correct, EFL uses the "Aurochs" freighter or the "Vache" Gallic train, not the Sirian heavy transport... so if I'm correct, it is OORP.
And Gallia is not the wasteland you would believe... perhaps you've just been fortunate enough not to run into the Council capital ships (it seems they only fly those things) or the patrols the GRN organize almost every night.
If he meant a "Heavy Tanker" rather than "Heavy Transport" it is in RP since its sold up there and is used for shipping oil (grant, that it may change and the EFL might get another tanker thats for Gallia in .86). If he meant a "Heavy Lifter" then yes that is a Sirrian ship only.
I deeply object to being labelled as OORP - I try very hard to be in RP always- Thats why I moved up to Gallia, I thought the best RP'ers would be there.
Just because I have a low post count does no label me as some n00b to be abused.
I'm not a "power trader" I have been trading in EFL Oil Machinery only materials - not the most profitable in Gallia-, thats why I end up having to go into Lorraine- to sell the Oil. Anyway - if I was power trading I wouldnt even be in Gallia.
Now that I have cleared up the various labells unfairly put to me
This should be Closed I feel.

Im not saying its OORP if you trade in gallia, im saying its OORP if you trade there in a kruger tagged, zoner guard IDed lux liner (have seen it happen).
I love the fact that NPCs have SNACs, it makes it interesting fighting them in my GB, plus, they are very bad at aiming, so they arent usually that much trouble. Unless that is you are in a really large ship, cruisers, BSs, 5k trans and such.
