You can drop normal CMs, just not Heavy Cm.

You can still drop them in the first seconds of the cruise.

Now we can't escape. At all. We try to run, we lose the power to fight back, and the lolcap fleet on our arses can just cruise to speed and EK after us, firing missiles until we die.

Very nice idea, really. I'm serious! I love the idea of being a part of some lolcap pilot's blue message wall!

As i said somewhere disabling weapons in high speed ( above max transport and bellow max cruise ) would fix all sniping and stuff, and more real because with that speeds let say weapons cant work normally.

Never liked cruise power drain thing

Why can't you run?
How can the lolcaps fire missiles when they have no energy?

I did just some missions, its painful, instead of cruising in and shooting its now, break at 3,5k distance, and thrust for 20 sec to reach the fight.


Aside from missions, I always stop cruising at 6-7k away from the fight. It gives me time to announce my presence and assess the situation.

But chasing someone make now pretty interesting...

Flying under radar.

But yes, the thing with this is that it was probably made to reduce the amount of people coming and engaging withouth saying a word.

The thing is that now, they just need to wait a few seconds, they still can just say nothing and engage.

Let say, w/o cruise using energy:
Pvpwhore cruise toward a guy
The guys say something about him
Pvpwhore arrive and start shooting

With use of energy
Pvpwhore cruise toward a guy
The guys say something about him
Pvpwhore arrives, wait a few seconds until he haves energy
Pvpwhore start shooting

Please change it back to the original cruise engine. Or this server is going to lose players one by one. And it might start with me. This is a very stupid thing added to a mod.
There isn't anything left for me to say why I want the engines back to normal , others have said enough including BOSS up there in his post.

Voted other. I find heavy CMs useless now. Something could be done about that...

Edit: And those 5 seconds for recharge, that's good. At least those cruising gunships won't be able to attack me if they try to catch up with cruise.

20 seconds is a very long time in a dogfight. Many things can be done in 20 seconds. Either lower it to an appropriate time or disable it completely.
