What about the Gaians? and populating that part of sirius (please read)

My problem with the Gaians is their screwed up diplomacy and such. Openly allied with Kusari (for unconvincing reasons), and yet they still supposedly have some popular support back home? Unlikely. The Corsair alliance makes little sense... Gaians don't get much from the Corsairs, not ships, not equipment, not really trade (as far as I know?).

Also, by canon, most Gaians are little more than pirates these days. A 'purist' Gaian might disagree with his greedier counterparts, but he shouldn't go shooting them if he wants to not get shot by the rest of the Gaians.

All that said, I've seen a lot of Gaians around, both NLH and indies. They're far more popular than the poor Mollys. The fact that their usually accompanying some KNF annoys me somewhat.

I recently created a unione corse. It's extremely fun. RPing a stealth fighter.. yup. But uh, i think all of the disco community should try to influence gallia. Although, the new /restart <faction> thing does get more trafic into it...

Well, if you ever go to Gamma and spend a large amount of time there peak server activity, you'll notice a lot of idiocy. Same with Alpha, New York, and Minor, which stems from the sheer popularity of the Order/Outcasts/Corsairs and that New York has the most people in it, on average.

Believe me, you do not want Edinburgh to be anything like Gamma.

Nothing really i suppose. I'm just trying to say that there are still a good amount of people in Gallia... from what I've seen at least. But we really should try to influence this more, it's a great place.

Well, I don't wanna throw insults or... I don't know, actually insult anyone by stating this but... Before the server went down I came to the conclusion that most Gaian factions are broken. Honestly, by reading a post on another thread (Sorry dude, I can't remember your name right now but you know who you are.) I noticed that "Gaians", as a whole, are nowhere near complete. Sure, we all got our backgrounds, but there's nothing "Gaian official" on the Kusarian vs Bretonia affair that I know of.

If you care to look at the big picture, Gaians were already falling apart before the war struck. And now that they are actually helping our fellow Kusarians and actually killing Bretonian soldiers... Well, heck, do the math, what would you think if a political party of your government started killing soldiers of your own country to help an outside force conquer your people?

Right now - since the server is kinda on hiatus and so am I - I've become pilled with work, tests, and no time whatsoever, but whenever things are back on track I plan on continuing my bg and take Gaian piracy to another level. I'm thinking of Bioterrorism here.

Bretonians never really listened to the Green Front - New London is the proof. Other than that, no true extremist leadership ever put word on the Gaian's side. It's not a surprise many Gaians turned to the "2milrdai" way of work.

So yeah, I believe Gaians should actually stop the good-whitey-flaggy-peace-nosense and start putting the caps on the Gaian Terrorist ID they gotta use.

It was in no way bombed by phantoms. Please do not even suggest that.
It was bombed by the corsairs, and will stay bombed by the corsairs.

However, the scale of the bombing has been discussed by the players of the molly republic, who have decided that it was a much smaller then the current infocard suggests. And that the mollys did not lose a huge amount of anything. just several mining areas, and a moderate amount of human life, however most of the mollys living on cork were able to get away before the corsairs broke through the defenses that the mollys had thrown up. It is by no means comparable to a thermonuclear device being used on manhatten....

And i think the gaians know, and dont really care. But i'll leave that to the NHL and other gaians.

We've discussed it a number of times amongst ourselves and on the forums. With this new information in mind, we'll decide our new position on the "bombing." If it wasn't a catastrophic event involving extinctions or a major catastrophe to Cork's environment, then you might be right...

By the way, it's NLH. Nature's Last Hope. Not the National Hockey League...
