"Elite" guns should be implemented that are only on one planet in Sirius.
This planet alternates to different locations, each time in a different house, once a week.
Also, anyone carrying these weapons loses them each time the planet moves.
That way, e[color=#FF6600]veryone can share the lulwuttery.
On a more serious note, I like the idea of weapon stats being removed from infocards.

I know, I know. I read that part of the thread.
Doesn't mean that I can't like the idea. The concept of not having to choose a faction weapon which you know is worse than another weapon is a nice one to fantasize about.

What if Cannon whipped up an FLhook program that boosted the power of weapons if you used them with the corresponding ship/faction ID? Maybe something like a 5% boost for matching ship and 5% for matching ID. That would encourage people to use their own equipment rather than the equipment of other factions.

Uh... let me get this straight, you complain that the Heavy Flashpoint is too weak... yet you say it's too weak to bother buffing? I don't think you quite understand what I am saying.
Mkay, to clarify: If everyone uses their factionalized weapons, we are still on the same footing. well, that footing is utterly terrible for the FLashpoint user, so we use Vengeances, Splitters, Sunfrenzies, ETC. Well, your opponents are 10% better now. And isnt this whole discussion UTTERLY CONTRARY to the original point of this thread?
