Mr. Katz, each transmission you send only makes it seem more and more as if you wish to own the station completely. You say you wish to lease the entire station completely.. But the citizens aboard that station own their own apartments, rooms, etc. Even if the management staff of Freeport 14 were to go along with this, they can't sell other people's property. No one owns a Freeport as a whole.
Nor does Freeport 14, it's staff, or anyone own Yukon to sell it to you. Yukon is not a similar situation to Omicron Theta or Omega-49. Freeport 14 and the area around it belong to the Zoners, but no more than that. You can try to claim the rest of it, but I warn you, the Liberty Government won't like that, nor will the unlawfuls of Liberty either.. It would only bring conflict to Freeport 14.
If you are willing to build massive extensions to a pre-existing station as long as you become the new owner.. Why not simply build a new station under your full control?

Madam Chairperson,
Again we have no desire, to purchase or lease people's homes, nor to subvert their rights in anyway.
As far as I am aware there is no Liberty claim to Yukon, Liberty ends at the tip of the gun barrels of Red Deer.
Our lease would cover the station operations, docking bays, expansion project and diplomatic wing. We would, in no way, seek to undermine the domiciles of civilians on the station. We don't do that in the Coalition, we wouldn't do that to Freeport 14.
We are simply looking for a port to trade in, an opportunity that the Zoners have been seeking with the Coalition for some time. If I was mistaken, and there is no desire to trade and have formal diplomatic ties, then we can always walk away from these negotiations.
I again, hopefully, reassure you that this is not an annexing of the station, but a trade deal. It seems that there is a significant need for diplomatic ties as described in our plans for FP14, we should proceed forward on that understanding, and build the trust we need.

However, i do not think that a lease for the entire station will be possible at the current time. This is not official yet, but i do not feel that the rest of the people here will think more highly of you as time progresses.

Then if that is how the Council of Zoners feel concerning the Coalition, its members and its intentions. Then I can see that trade is not possible at this time, nor are more formal diplomatic ties.
When you have resolved your leadership issues, and can safeguard trade and the security of your stations so that there is no danger to our people, we will reconsider. Until that time, consider the prospect of trade with us as being an impossibility.
Any non-CoZ aligned Zoner trader may apply for a visa at the following location for standard trade purposes, understand that the visa process is a long ordeal and that for security reasons not all applications will be validated.
The Council had nothing to do with these decisions, they were made by the inhabitants of the station. I'm playing devil's advocate here, and my opinions were not factored into this decision either, nor are they the view of the Council, but only my personal view of the situation. To try and blame a group for 'denying' you a lease is unwarranted. If you wish to know the exact details of why you were not granted this lease, I suggest asking the individuals aboard Freeport 14, or simply ask here and I'm sure at least a few will respond to you.
As a resident of Freeport 14, I will weigh in here, Sir, the Coalition is a military organization one that is considered hostile by most of Sirius. Giving you deed to the base would bring not only your people, but those of your enemies, you will be putting the residence of the Freeport as well as it's operation in harms way to advance the SCRA's goals. Our interests at Freeport 14 are not non-existent, they should not have to be sublimated to the interests of the SCRA. If you took possession of the Freeport, you would be making Yukon a battle zone, and Freeport 14 the epicenter of attacks against the SCRA. Freeport 14 is my home, I do not wish to see it used as a tool in the SCRA's battle against the rest of Sirius. I do not wish to see it risked for yet another groups wishes. Too much recently we are giving up our own interests for those of the Houses, or the Corsairs, or the Outcasts, or the Bounty Hunters, now, you ask us to add the SCRA to that list.... I dont think so. I am Lev Shestov, and I am a Zoner, and I live on Freeport 14, a Zoner instillation, and I dont want to see that change. *cough*

No, we will gladly deal with Zoner independents and groups non-aligned to the Council, who we blame fully for this reaction, it is yet another example of bad decision making on the part of the Council's leadership. And until that leadership is replaced, there will be no further diplomatic, economic or Alliance communication.
