Erm. As has been discussed at heated lengths... (Gods give us patience for those who do not have any, for they are vein and really quite objectionable and anyone with a 'hate-' in their signature will be beaten senseless with wet trout.) Er, you had to be there.

Collect only weapons and shields and other ship parts suitable for the faction you have sided with. I guess once you have gone past a certain amount of influence and power you can no-longer remain free and have to throw your lot in with a major established faction, whatever the price. Many will make it worth your while if you ask.

From their the decisions about what you can buy and where to buy them and how much assistance you get buying them become matters for the faction to deal with. They will give you millions if you suit them. ((define the character, then play the game - unavoidable Nazi Disco RPG guidelines 101))

Gamma's jump hole can be found in one of the southern clouds in Omicron Theta. Just don't get nailed by the AW, and it's downright suicide if your hostile to the Corsairs (not to mention you can't dock, anyway). You can also get in through the Unknown Gamma, via Omicron Delta, but if you haven't found Gamma and Alpha yet, you probably haven't been to either of those, anyway.

where can i get a bribe to befriend the corsairs?

I don't know, but there's a wonderful program called Datastorm that will give you a list. Don't use it too liberally, though, or it spoils the fun. I just usually use it for just that-bribe searching.
