What I persoanlly would do is blend the fire with the black background using Photoshop, so it doesnt look like a cut and paste job. But you said you used paint, right? Iff so, thats very good for just paint. Also, I suggest you dont use JPG format, but use PNG format. No corruption, and smaller;)
ya i just realized i shoulda used png. the original image is WAY less fuzzy. i actually used paint.NET (www.getpaint.net). the fire is blended into the black, i put a gradient layer over it. the jpg format messed up a lot
Since I dont really like paying out the butt for photoshop, I dont think you would either. I got a tool that came free with my other compy called Photoimpression. This supports some of the less common formats (IE TGA), and is verry nice. infact, thats what I did my sigs in:)I also have it compressed in a .rar file, as I transfered it between my compy, so I *may* be able to send it to people, but that would be pirating... wouldnt it?
I got a sujestion. How about where the flame meets up with the black You sumudge it so that it blends in with the back ground:)
