A custom fighter you made which size is same as a vanilla fighter in ms3d (you have to use "merge" option), around 1/100-1/85 when you export from ms3d into cmp.
So, if you resize it up to 100 by flmodel tool, you will have the same size you already have in ms3d.
If i mean right the question
EDIT:
Dont thrust in scale down factor (default: 92) when you want to export into cmp.

Thank you, that number works like a charm every time anytime!
Last question how should the ship be oriented when I export it in CMP.
I was told back to front by some people, upside down by others. But on what planes are we talking about here?
Should it be back to front looking from the left or back to front looking from the right? And does it need to be upside down?

Make sure you are using the latest CMP exporter (I forget what version number it is, and I'm not at home right now.)
When you make a new export, it will pop up with a window with all the available settings, set the scale to 1 and the orientation to back to front. Now save the CMP settings and re-load them, and your model will be saved in true size instead of being scaled.
It'll only work if you load the CMP settings before exporting, and scaling all your models up by 92 is impracticle and can lead to the model being off-centre.

See, thats what I was missing, I didn't know you had to change the setting and save it for it to take effect.
That makes it so much easier.

Ah this one isn't that good, I can do better. If you have any civvy ship ideas drawn up send them to me by PM and Ill see what I can do. That goes for anyone of course.
