From what I remember, the Sol Nomads were a different Caste than Sirius nomads, and after the Sleeper ships had left, the Solmads saw humanity as an expansionist threat, and destroyed them before they spat some ships towards their space, or possibly, to protect their Sirian brethren.

I get what your saying. I was also thinking. How did the Nomads even know about Earth in the first place.

The Nomads from Sirius are a 'colony'. The Nomad population is much, much, much bigger. It just happens to be quite far away from Sirius, since the hypergate doesn't work, they can't really open a pathway to the others either.

The Nomads get around the place. They'd show up in Sol eventually. There's a story to that, although it's still considered unofficial.
