' Wrote:*Sigh* Why is it no one ever likes my ideas.. I just want to try something a bit different.
If I have to yea. I Just want a small (5-8 Members) faction that is unique.
Yeah well, I don't mind different. Different is nice but I mean, you take a look at the "unique factions" such as Keepers, SCRA etc. They don't really have a SRP with their special ships, those vessels just belongs to their specific faction. I don't think I have ever seen a whole group/faction gotten a certain SRP request fully accepted before. Might be wrong though.
The Outcast tech thing would only come into play with capships anyway. All the BW ships are sold by groups in Rheinland. It's also probably something that will turn off a lot of unlawfuls there.
If you go with mostly smaller ships and things like Prison Liners, it should help. Tridentes probably aren't too much of a concern, all things considered, but I think they'll be mighty suspicious of some Outcasts coming in with cruisers and dreadnoughts.
I also doubt the Bundschuh will deal with you at all. They have a lot of PR to consider compared with the other groups, but there are possibilities with the others. Talking to Cryer about some RP could be really interesting, like was suggested. Turning on your fellows for a temporary cure? Could be very interesting. Maybe base in the Sigmas to start while trying to establish contact with Rheinland?
Not sure if Outcast ID and Rheinland are too compatible. Maybe look into Outcast IFF, Pirate ID? Though you'd need to get in touch with the Outcasts to get approved for technology you may want to use then.
Hint:
Find the flaws in your plan before you propose it and be prepared to be attacked about them.
Bigger hint:
Why would you all run away from the Outcast Commonwealth that made you all so rich?
Even bigger hint:
The number of vessels that you claim to have built makes no sense. If it was possible to build that much, the Hessians would have done it already. You are using their resources after all and their shipyards. If they can't churn out hundreds of fighters then well, you can't.
Logistics.
Where's all the resources coming from for the Battleship and other capital ship vessels?
Where are the engineers coming from to work on building them? (Remember you need to keep your crew members onboard your ship, since the ship needs them to run)
How can the Hessians support a large capital fleet when they don't have one themselves?
Perhaps if you didn't insist on using "teh awsum" Outcast tech as huggy, huggy Hessian friends I'd be more inclined to give you ye old thumbs up...
Or, you know, if you had bothered asking the chap who handles Outcast tech before announcing this.
For the record: I'm fine with -one- Storta and a couple of gunboats, but you're not using anything else. Take a hint from Zeltak and use Natterturn Zwei cannons. (Pro tip: They're -awesome-)

Well I'm sorry, I didn't know you handled outcast tech, I've been trying to get in touch with several others about that.

Okay, This might work for now. Just until I straighten my stuff out. May we still use Borderworld Fighters/Bombers/Transports tagged as Outcasts? And can I request that we keep a battleship purley in RP, Not actually in game? Seems one of the logical ships to steal/evacuate on. (Or Maybe I'll change it to a BW Transport.)
I'm going to do a complete overhaul of the story. I've got another member helping me already. Cheers for the honest input guys.
EDIT: I've done some changes to the basic history, making the storyline adhere to Dennis's offer. Also cut the numbers of new ships produced right down, and added some different side effects the lack of cardmine has made to the population of Prato, Making their sudden, irrational decisions more believable.
