False detections. They happen.
Cheat detection is not perfect.
Funny thing is, formation catchup speed triggers the cheat detection if you remain at it for a long enough time. Like, for example, if your net drops out for a few seconds just when you formed up and started your cruise engines, leaving your ship to drift according to the server at 80m/s while your formatiom mebers fly off at 350m/s. Even though you've got them on sensors at 9k, and are formed up with them still because of lag.
You never actually exceed the 42 m/s cruisecatchup speed, but when your net stops failing, your new position according to your client(which still was in cruise trying to catch up with the others) is sent to the server, which can be interpreted as a massive burst of speed. Oh look, cheat detection boots you.

Cannon checked the evidence from the logs, and he made sure the server dissappeared for the accounts owned by the user of the Der.Bademeister char.
Do you doubt Cannon's integrity and knowledge on such matters ? If so, to bad, since the one running the server doesn't.

Yes, I question the judgement of a group that denied a very important SRP of mine, only to have it approved when another admin made the rest of the team take a closer look.
Yes, I question the honesty of a group largely operating off of personal bias, which I have witnessed first hand,
Yes, I question the well-being of this server being hosted by somebody who reported a man's ISP for Terrorism after a stupid threat, as well as having threatened to take down the server after taking a some lulz trolling a bit too personally. (No sir, not buying into McIgiss's lies here)
And YES, I question the integrity of a a group that banned a close friend of mine who was wrongly accused of tampering with game files.
This can be locked now, but deleting my post will only prove a point.
I've flown with Rainny multiple times before, on multiple occasions, and NEVER has she been above 350 m/s in cruise or above 200 m/s in thrust. Ever.

Had that happen before. Somehow, a gunboat of mine kept getting destroyed every time I did a cruise catchup slingshot and turned around. Apparently the server's anti-cheat isn't exactly prepared for formation cruise at reverse speed.

42 detections over twenty minutes would mean one every thirty seconds...
I don't claim to know how the cheat detection works, but that seems more like a false detection to me, considering everyone I've seen get picked up by the cheat detection tend to explode and get booted.

With a death message to boot (sorry for the pun).
But yeah, I've never seen, even from the other side of the system, Rainny being exploded by either a mathematical error or quantum physics. So I can attest to that.
When lag hits, the server can 'hold' a person where they are, then when the aforementioned person's connection reconnects they will suddenly jump through space. They get kicked for that. It can either be that or hitting off something at a bad angle. I got a gunboat banned by doing that.
Rainny, your explanation makes sense and explains the observed behaviour. Sorry about the inconvenience to you and smear on your name. I'll unban your accounts immediately.
If people want to voice concerns about the admin team or me personally then start a thread in general discussions. I'll listen to the discussion there.

That probably did happen at some point, as I said our router and internet have been acting up, many people know this, like because emily and I have crashed alot, mostly her.
Anyways, I plan on replacing this router, but she doesn't have to deal with it anymore, she moved to twin falls.
But if she still does, I'll blame our ISP, who says that all of Cable 1 in Idaho is feeling "this technical server problem. Anyways, thanks.
