Ageira sells stuff to make money. Go to Denver and buy superconductors. There is also high-tech equipment based on Alien technology that Ageira doesn't not openly sell which would be the G/L parts and the white boxes it contains. If you want to get your hands on it, attack the shipment. Makes no sense it's sold to everyone.
Try buying buying G/L parts when Ageira| bombers are around Pueblo without Ageira, DSE or Universal identifacation. You will see how happy we are about someone else taking it.
I'm in complete agreement with Bob. Ageira is the only corporation if its kind to produce jumpgate and tradelane parts. It doesn't matter whether you're in Rheinland, Kusari, Liberty, Bretonia and in some cases, even beyond. This equipment is invaluable to sustaining all life throughout Sirius. To propose that Ageira isn't entitled to sole proprietary rights to their own product and can't delegate who is responsible for the shipping of these resources would be quite absurd. That being said, the product can't be allowed into the hands of criminals and that's why extensive RP security measures are a must in order for a realistic economic system to thrive.
That would confirm my suspicion that you can't have friendly on one side, while the other is hostile then?
That is, I'm assuming that's what you mean.
In that case, Ageira Bases could be set to an Ageira Guard style faction, removing the issues with NPCs, as well. That would allow people to dock, after they had put in sufficient effort to do so.
As I said - think again. Detroit Munitions is a drop-off point for Gold Ore, and a Light Arms sale point, not to mention alloys and other stuff.
Plus you would be forcing traders to take a detour around Colorado if they want to go to Kepler.
Why in blazes would you put such base close to trade lanes? Seriously, take your bases, and go away. Oh wait, they ain't yours. They're Igiss's.:D
I'm also quite certain that the Rogues of Padua approve of this idea.

The dropoff for gold can be moved without much issue. Baltimore, perhaps?
I'm completely okay with this alteration so long as it is done very carefully. The repninja stuff won't be troublesome to code at all, the lore stuff makes sense to me. A few routes may have to be adjusted, but as a 4.86 change this is certainly doable. What would help is if you located all (and I do mean all) Ageira NPC spawns in the .ini files that needed to be removed.
Alternatively, you could make Pueblo and Detroit docking controlled by a new NPC faction with your chosen repninjas and a 1:1 replink to the regular Ageira. This might actually be easier, since you wouldn't need to alter any of the base NPCs like you normally do when a base changes over (which is a right pain, by the way). Both options could be looked into, but it'll be a much easier sell if you're willing to do most of the work. I can show you how to go through system .ini files for the patrols if you're willing.
