Whilst I preferred the other two previous writeups of the Kempeitai, I suppose this one's the only one that's managed to get relatively active (though I did see a member of another one with a kind weird tag, forgot what it was as it was a LOONG time ago), as I have seen about. I was specifically wondering about the history of the Kempeitai in general, but it seems you guys are gonna skip that so I won't bother asking about it.
The only real issue I've ever had is chinese/Korean names but that's a part of Kusari now. Everyone uses them.
Though doesn't the Kempeitai ID limit ZOI? So I don't think you'll be allowed out of the ZOI which is stated on the infocard even with the freelancer IFF =/
But apart from all that, looks good, and I like it. I might consider joining if I can bother to find the time to get online (quite busy atm, actually, thought I would be freer this week but I'm not D:)
Though one thing I'll be inquiring about is why the KPT are taking an active as in active active role in the war. Ie, fighting on front lines etc (I have *heard* of you guys raiding leeds a few times, which doesn't sound very stealthyintelligenceRPlike to me...)
Another note: Does this faction tend to become official in time or merge with the [KSP] as I think someone suggested?

Intelligence services in Disco are not like they are in RL. Look at the LSF for example, and the example that is most used because it was the only intelligence service before 4.85. LSF spends time hunting pirates, and fighting with criminals in Liberty, this is not what we would think of a RL intelligence service doing, but this is Disco, not real life.

90% of Intelligence-related RP seems to be screamed as being metagaming of some sort, so it's incredably hard to do, that doesn't mean the Kempeitai would be pacifists and value knowledge over eliminating a clear hostile threat.

Well I do know what they are like, but fighting the opposing house and fighting on the front lines 'raiding' (herein meaning pretty much doing the KNFs job) are different things. I should really thing that their RP should at least have a noticeable difference in regards to the war rather than that of the KNF.
But don't use the LSF as an example, I'm not too fond of how they act:P
