' Wrote:I wouldn't use missiles on a light fighter. Class 7 aren't worth using and class 9 would take up one of your very limited hullbuster slots.
Good on an HF, though; one of my Falcons has a Cannonball.
Well I strapped a Cannonball to my Scimi and I won every fight I was in (Excluding the time when A) I nuked myself + the person was fighting, resulting in a double kill and B) When Yorktown opened fire on me suddenly in .02 seconds) So, I would say putting a missile on a LF is worth it. Just use it as like a shield buster, and have the rest of the guns hullbusters.
It doesn't have enough power to matter and its tracking is largely irrelevant thanks to lag and its relative lack of use in a joust, which is (for good or ill) the most common combat situation (and the only one I've found missiles to be at all effective in)
Some people like it, though.
And the Sidewinder tracks better and hits harder, it's just a shame LFs can't use it.
Twin Class 8 Debs
3 Class 9 Barragers
Cannonball
Barrager turret
Mini Razor
Nuclear Mine
That's a very good loadout for the Crow, I think. My experience with the ship is that it is very agile and quick, however it has a horribly small power core and is really large. The missile will hopefully alleviate the first problem and will keep people from wanting to face your big ship directly, which should help you stay behind them and use your agility more to your advantage.
Bulldog is a very strange ship from what I've heard. It might be better to stick with the Crow or Falcon.
