Additional Notes/Quantities Delivered:What a fantastic adventure it was! Moving from system to system, going where the solar winds carried us. We began in Orkney and took Diamonds to Kusari from where we picked up Robotic Components and took them to Planet Harris. From there we took H-Fuel to Planet Leeds and picked up some Refugees to move out to Liberty. It cannot be said the the GMS is an organization that isn't concerned humanitarian effort, as we'll even help those Bretonian folks in need.
After lifting off from Planet Leeds, we drummed up conversation with a member of the Bretonian Merchant Navy, a ship bearing the tag [Convoy]. The fellow was kind enough to show us the quickest way to Liberty, which happened to be through a jump hole not too far from where we were. He accompanied us through the Magellan system as well, and seemed like a generally nice fellow.
We made our way to a planet called Pittsburgh where we dropped off the refugees, and stopped by "the jewel of New York." For a capital system, Manhattan and the surrounding area was rather...disappointing. I remember New Paris, back before they closed off the Borderworlds. Ah, such hustle and bustle. Now that was a capital. A shining pearl in the ink of space.
We took some mining machinery and hopped over another system to Pennsylvania, where we swapped that for some Neon. We took that back down through Bretonia and passed by some friendly Zoners on our way to Omicron Theta, where we dropped that off amidst a large party of Corsair and Outcast ships. Now we'd had run-ins with Outcasts before and they'd almost always ended badly, but these two groups seemed to be intermingling nicely, shouting things in the tongue of the Spaniards and swarming the Freeport there. While it wasn't a custom we were familiar with, it looked like it was one giant party. How dare they not invite us! We could have brought something better to drink than that...tequila...
From there we took a trip through Rheinland with some alien organisms, which was quiet, and said hello to Liberty again on our way to drop the organisms off in California. It was there that things got a tad more interesting. I'll upload the transcript so you can see.
Quote:Abraham.Stotch: Your friend got away...
Abraham.Stotch: So you will pay for him too...
ad.noctum: Yes. That was utterly disrespectful.
[GMS]French.Advance: Pah! You yell at him about that! I'm not paying his bill!
[GMS]French.Advance: We did not decide to go dutch on this order!
Abraham.Stotch: Ok heres the deal, we want 6 milions now...
[GMS]French.Advance: And I want the Council out of Languedoc, but you see how quickly that's happening
Abraham.Stotch: If he didnt get away it would 2
Abraham.Stotch: But now...
[GMS]French.Advance: Wait wait wait
[GMS]French.Advance: There's two ships
[GMS]French.Advance: And the fee for one is two
Abraham.Stotch: Nope...
[GMS]French.Advance: So by my math, that makes four
ad.noctum: Yes, but your friend wasnt kind enough to cooperate.
[GMS]French.Advance: Or does two plus two equal six in Sirius?
Abraham.Stotch: Tha makes 6, 2 for runing away
[GMS]French.Advance: No wonder you folks don't have ships that are nearly as sturdy, your math is off!
Abraham.Stotch: Boy, listen to me, i dont care for math...
[GMS]French.Advance: I can tell!
ad.noctum: I'm growing impatient...
[GMS]French.Advance: And I'm growing wider. It must be all the cheese
Abraham.Stotch: I just want 6 milions so my friend and me can go home happy...
[GMS]French.Advance: Hon hon hon
Abraham.Stotch: And you can go home too, alive...*smile*
[GMS]French.Advance: Ah, well, when you put it that way
[GMS]French.Advance: You Libertonians, always so grumpy. Here's the credits to Noctum
/givecash ad.noctum 6000000
You have sent 6.000.000 credits to ad.noctum
ad.noctum: Thank you, sir. Now get out of our sight.
Abraham.Stotch: Cya around, i guess...
[GMS]French.Advance: I'd be more than happy too. You folks should bathe every once in a while. I didn't know a stench like that could travel through a vacuum!
Abraham.Stotch: *laughs*
The nerve! Such rude treatment. I'll have to give the Brigands the benefit here, at least they have a little class.
At this point my comrades departed, I suppose they chose to take some time to admire the beauty on California Minor, which while desolate was also breathtaking. I chose to continue, picking up water to take to Baffin.
Upon arrival at Shasta Skyhook I happened across an Order vessel, a Liberty Navy ship, and a member of the TAZ cult, all of which were quite friendly. We chatted for a tad and I dropped the water and picked up a shipment of those quaint Pineal Amulets which seem to be ever so chic on Nevers these days. I was planning on heading on up back to Gallic space and calling it a night when halfway along I received a narrow-band transmission from the same TAZ from earlier.
Quote:[TAZ]Ambassador's.Ark: Hail Advance. I have just one question for you
[GMS]French.Advance: What can I answer for you?
[TAZ]Ambassador's.Ark: If you head back this way, can we get a load of wine and tobacco?
[GMS]French.Advance: Absolutely, I'll be happy to bring some along.
[TAZ]Ambassador's.Ark: Very well. Let us know the shipping charges
After arriving on Nevers, I filled the hold with some of our finest wine and tobacco and shipped it right away back to Baffin. The Ambassador's Ark had to depart on business, but another member by the name of Gregorius Adagio received the delivery.
Quote:[GMS]French.Advance: Bonjour
[TAZ]Metaxas: Bonsoir
[GMS]French.Advance: After you, monsieur
[TAZ]Metaxas: My thanks
[TAZ]Metaxas: That is Gallic wine, hmm?
[GMS]French.Advance: Some of the finest stock left in the Borderworlds
[TAZ]Metaxas: *He chuckles* Some of our popes would kill for that...
[GMS]Hopping.Mad: Does he still need it, or can I take this elsewhere?
[GMS]French.Advance: Take it wherever, I htink this will be enough
[GMS]French.Advance: *chuckles* I hope not, I'm sure there's plenty to go around
[GMS]Hopping.Mad: Alright.
[TAZ]Metaxas: Anyhow, feel free to dock, mister
Traffic control alert: [GMS]French.Advance has requested to dock
[TAZ]Metaxas: I will report your delivery to fnordnet
[GMS]French.Advance: My thanks
[GMS]French.Advance: And that there is. Just give us a ring when the stocks run low and we'd be happy to bring along more.
[TAZ]Metaxas: Ah well, thank Mr... Hmm? May I ask your name?
[GMS]French.Advance: Jean Pierre LeBlanc, Director of External Operations, at your service
[TAZ]Metaxas: Very well Jean-Pierre. A pleasure to meet you
[TAZ]Metaxas: I'm Gregorius Adagio *bows*
[GMS]French.Advance: I understand relations between the TAZ and the Royalists got off on a rocky start, but in time, I hope the GMS can demonstrate a more sensible relationship
[TAZ]Metaxas: That would be lovely
[TAZ]Metaxas: I will inform the popes about your generous offer
[TAZ]Metaxas: Safe travels, sir
[GMS]French.Advance: Au revoir, until next time!
It's always good to have more friends throughout the sector, and the TAZ folks seem kind enough to warrant a relationship. I departed Baffin with yet another load of Pineal Amulets. You can barely touch down on Nevers before they're gone from the hold in a flash. From there, more Tobacco was taken to Reunion after a quick stopoff, and then the Vache was repositioned with the rest of the fleet in Tau-23.
So, to summarize, the route consisted of the following:
Diamonds from Reunion to Nansei Station
Robotic Components from Nansei to Planet Harris
H-Fuel from Harris to Planet Leeds
Refugees from Leeds to Planet Pittsburgh
Mining Machinery from Planet Manhattan to Philadelphia Station
Neon from Planet Erie to Freeport 9
Alien Organisms from Freeport 9 to California Minor
Ze had a mining operation in the Bretonian system they call Cambridge. Not a nice system, but it's ores fell victim to us. We were graced by the overwhelming presence of Ze Arch, and quickly gave offering to it. Saddly, a Corsair of the name of Vito came by and started talking to us. Fearful he might try to harm Ze Holy Curve, We moved location. He followed, and requested a shipment of our wonderful croissants.
After this encounter, I was ordered on a special mission to transport our golden crescents to the Corsair home planet, Crete. My those are starving people!

Additional Notes/Quantities Delivered: Ze voyage went off without a hitch. Ze newest employee, Jean Pierre, handled himself very well. We shipped ze Tobacco from Reunion to Planet Pittsburgh. Then we took a small toure around Liberti space. But ze Libertonians became suspicious and harassed us quite a bit, so we kept moving along. We then shipped ze Sirian "Luxury" consumer goods and gate/lane parts back to Gallia. This concluded our trip. Here are some photos from the convoy....

Additional Notes/Quantities Delivered:
Ze GMS had another glorious and exciting transport operation today. First, we embarked from ze beautiful Planet Nevers loaded with fresh Tobacco. Ze Tobacco was shipped successfully to ze IMG base in Cambridge named Cardiff. Onboard Cardiff, we were informed that ze IMG sells Gold Ores in ze Dublin system. We decided to inquire and then to procure some of ze precious metal. Once we reached Dublin and dropped off some Mining Machines, we met up with Jack Henderson and were able to trade 4500 Sirian credits for each piece of ze Gold Ore. Ze IMG also offered an escorting service to get us back to Reunion for a small fee. We agreed and were escorted by Monsiour Henderson and Monsiour Daniel Shepard and made it safely to Reunion with the escort. From there, Gerard and I flew to Alesia and successfully deposited the Gold Ore in ze GMS storage tanks.
Ze IMG are a very professional and competent Sirian organization. I know, it sounds like ze oxymoron, but it's true! Their prices were fair. Their service was quick and courteous. And they have very deep knowledge of ze resources and politics inside Sirius. Perhaps zerr is hope for Sirians afterall. Ze King should know of their value and will hopefully spare ze IMG in ze coming "events".

Ze small mining operation was a success. I braved ze dangers of Tau-23 to fill up ze Vache with Beryllium ore, then carried it safely to ze Alesia Station. All glory to ze Arch! Afterwards, I chomped down on some crusty baguettes.

PART 1
I set out to learn more about ze Sirians of ze Breton and Liberti Houses as well as scouting for more untapped minerals. I started by entering ze system named "Deux-blin". It is a shiny system that we have visited before. However, ze GMS has never stopped to check and see ze fertility of ze evil rocks on the edge of ze system. I found some Sirian miners that attested to ze quantities of Gold Ore that could be extracted from the rocks. I took some Gold Ore as a sample for further study. Then, something hilarious happened. A Sirian, likely a comedian, showed up with ze funniest ship name I had ever seen: Long_Hon_Silver. I just about spit out ze wine I was sipping at that moment! Needless to say, I could barely contain my own "Hon"s. Add to that ze irony that this Sirian was a GOLD huckster, and not a Silver huckster...well I just couldn't stop ze laughing. However, an awkward moment arose when ze comedian started questioning ze Crowne's motives and plans for ze future. I assured the Sirians present that ze Sol incident was ancient history and they were not in any danger.
Ze comedian left and I departed towards Liberti for more cultural research (See Part 2).
Here are photos of ze encounter:
PART 2
Upon arriving in Neu York, I quickly was drawn to vaguely Gallic femme. Her voice carried over ze system communications like warm butter on ze fresh baguette. Her name was Victoria Reyes and her ship's callsign was: "Marche.Au.Supplice" and I must admit, even as a family-man, I was smitten. But upon meeting her face-to-face and after a quick talk, I realized she was not just a Femme, but a Femme Fatale! Her ship was of ze olde Slave Liner design, and her info-card (see photo) bragged of hundreds of illegal human kidnappings! Once learning ziss terrifying detail and not wanting to be her latest victim, I quickly scampered off towards ze Planet Manhattan....but not before getting a quick group photo!

Additional Notes/Quantities Delivered:
Ze mining operation was completed with three Vache's full of Beryllium ore being hauled back to Alesia. Ze transports returned dropping three loads of Cryocubes on Reunion. Ze was a very uneventful and profitable day.
Operation Leader:Sebastien DeLong Department:Transporting Additional Personnel: None Additional Notes/Quantities Delivered: Three Vache loads full of Beryllium ore. Barge ees empty and ees awaiting more shipments. No unfriendly encounters of note. Made contact wiz an IMG representative concerning making Gold ore shipments out of ze Dublin System. Recommend sending a Vache down to ze Hood to await delivery. Agreed upon rates apply as mentioned in this link.
Additional Notes/Quantities Delivered: Pelletier here, reporting in Monsieur Dragance's stead. A rousing success, it was, six Vaches full of ore. Six! Four of them were offloaded to Ze Arch, totalling 17,720 units of Beryllium Ore. The rest we carted in to Alesia and a nice payday, hon hon. Gerard did a fantastic job keeping a nasty Brigand occupied in Orkney while we slipped on through, slippery as eels we were.
Mmm, eel. I think I shall stop by Nevers this evening. Take my hovercraft to the fish market and buy a nice selection of eel to fill up on. Mmm, sounds lovely. All you Jean Pierres are more than welcome to join!

Additional Notes: Magnifique! We stuffed Ze Arch full of beryllium! It was a sight to behold, for sure. I don't think we'll see anything so fantastic for quite some time, non.
Also, we were confronted by one of these Mandalorian Mercenaries. I suppose there's a bounty on our heads now, but he wouldn't tell us from whom, of course. Certainly can respect a man who can keep a secret. Aside from the shooting, he really wasn't a terrible man. But he couldn't hit us, non, not at all. He tried and tried and all he did was fly in circles! Merde, we even managed to finish filling Ze Arch while he was shooting us. Perhaps we should send a letter to the Mandalorians with a performance review, help them to improve their service and such.
Fortunately, though, nobody was hurt. A good day, if you ask me.
