I've used a Ryuujin with an IC ID for over two years. No problems.
My IC's Captain and crew are from Kusari, he trades to and from Kusari, for Kusari. My RP supports it and I'm not asking anyone's permission to use it.

Interspace is one of the Big Three Liberty Corps. That is a fact, even if they are in all four houses. IC is also not a shipping company, nor is it a producer or manufacturer. They are insurance brokers and money lenders. You need to make up your own RP to have an IC flying around away from his office let alone in a Kusari tradeship.

Their insurance is in offices, on paper. Every IC ship in space is a cargo hauler because it makes money. And more money is good for IC.

Well the only money IC is making is by players with IC ships because not a single NPC ship is out there to support you or the company on this trading venture you are speaking of. Meanwhile actual shipping companies have not only theirs supporting the trading RP but inummerable NPC ships as well. I make no mistake about it concerning GMG. GMG is not a shipping company. GMG does have some moving around to do with Frighters and even Trains but that is from miner platform to storage facilities like Osaka. I'm not kidding myself in believing the GMG|GTS ships we have out there is cannon RP because it isn't it's a player invented mechanism because, well, we can't actually mine our gas. Nor would I kid myself in thinking because a few players (and 200 at the very most in a given time which is tiny wee chunk of RP population) are RPng shipping as IC that would mean that the actual NPC IC faction is a shipping company. We can make RP for ourselves and our chars but none of that makes the entirety of the laid out RP have to follow suit.
