Yes, my esteemed readers, this threatening letter from the Mollies to Her Majesty's Royal Bretonian Police Authority is authentic. Our own independent researchers from Planet Manhattan have confirmed this unanimously.
This shows a complete disregard for a willingness to engage in the democratic system of Bretonia and a penchant towards violence and an admittance towards being not only an economic seperatist movement, but also a league of invaders set upon conquering the freedom-loving peoples of both Bretonia and Liberty. Yes, ladies and gentlemen both Bretonia and Liberty. We all saw the news reels of them in the New York system.
However, this writer would suggest that there is not too much to worry about. The Mollies have grown slightly in recent years, but their blatant disregard towards human life, as shown here, is playing havoc with their membership. In spite of claiming a fight for freedom, they are truly bloody, enjoying violence like children at a movie, and not caring whether they are right or wrong. The Monarchy admits its mistakes and the government are pushing for better rights for the admittedly well paid BMM workers. The Mollies ignore this and continue a campaign of bloodshed.
They have no access to ship construction yards of any great size, so rising above petty theft is next to impossible. An invasion would destroy what exists of their single-resource economy.
In fact, I might be pushing my press neutrality into murky areas, but here in Bretonia we have a great, time honoured tradition of a free press, so I think I can give my opinion.
The people of Bretonia should unite, not divide. In fact, I would suggest that many people answer the Royal Call to Arms issued by Queen Carina's Royal Fleet and the Police Authority's Light Horse squadrons. I'm sorely tempted to do so myself, we can't allow invaders from New Tokyo or Dublin to take our homes from us, not like they had a chance anyway.

Today, with auxiliary support brought in from Sheffield Station in the form of the famed Mandy Payne and led by the latest BAF rising star, Lt. Commander Martin Barclay, Queen Carina's newly reorganised Royal Fleet inflicted severe damage upon a Union of Gold flotilla of Molly extremists.
Her Majesty's forces lost a single fighter, the pilot being rescued as four Molly vessels, including a gunboat, were vapourised, with their Destroyer contingent fleeing the scene with their murderous tails between their legs.
These terrorist gold miners lack the capability to truly harm the people of Bretonia thanks to the fact that we are defended by trained professionals as opposed to untrained civilian fundamentalists.
Today saw heroics on the parts of the Bretonian Armed Forces and the Bounty Hunters' Guild, ensuring that you, the people of Bretonia, retain your rights and freedoms in these troubled times.
Yes, the events that unfolded today are true. The UOG fleet was attacked and outnumbered by the Bretonian pilots...it was a sad day. The brave pilots who gaves thier lives for the sake of freedom shall be remembered forever. Examples to all of our young pilots of what it takes to be a true patriot.

First off, let me say that I'm not really happy, and I don't really feel like fighting you at all. The only Mollies I have had to take down so far were those who posed, and directly threatened the people of Bretonia. This sort of... Civil war, is among the worst I could possibly every see. I wish you could just come to terms. I mean, have you really thought this out?
What do you plan on doing by bringing Bretonia into chaos? We are still at war with Kusari, and if we fight a war on two ends, we will weaken, as will you, bringing the Kusari down on both of us! You are essentially asking for your own demise! I don't think you see how The house of Bretonia is keeping you alive!
I advise, no I ask you to think this over. Think of the consequences and what will come of them, but if you choose this path...

It appears that we, the people of Bretonia, are suffering from libel and slander on the part of some petty terrorists, the Union of Gold.
Now, they claim that we use forced labour. This is patently untrue. As our workers can tell you, conditions are unfortunately harsh, although Parliament is seeking to amend this at present, the process currently stalling in the upper chamber of the Houses of Parliament.
However, they paint an unfairly bleak picture. The Bretonian Mining and Manufacture Companies, whilst expecting perhaps too much hard work do pay extremely well to their employees. Working conditions are set to improve in the next few months, adding to the current cleaning of the environment on Planet Leeds which was pioneered on Planet New London. In fact, lifespans for the average worker on Planet Leeds have risen significantly over the past few years, beginning to catch up with the sector's average.
All of this rhetoric comes from poorly educated terrorists that refuse to take advantage of Bretonia's easily accessed schooling systems. I, myself, was born exceptionally poor, but thanks to Bretonian education, I am now a Commodore of the Fleet and a Knight of the Realm.
They demand the Queen submit to 'intergalactic law'? Hmm. There is no such thing, considering that we have never visited another galaxy. This 'Union' is supposed to honour a scientist founder, yet shame his legacy with fallacies regarding science, history and current events.

Her Majesty allows her Parliament to govern, and govern they do. We believe in a democratic vote here in Bretonia, and do not give in to the demands of terrorists. If one wants independence from the Crown's protection, take it to the ballot box instead of committing murder, which causes public support to drop to abysmal levels. You have the freedom to vote your so-called freedom into legislation, so why won't you do it? Yes, it is due to the fact that you won't get everything you want, so you don't follow the democratic process. The miners on the rather poorly named Graves Station equal the denizens of Arranmore in population, are very content with their lot and would vote negatively to the demands of the Mollies.
The Mollies can't win democratically, so turn to murder to gain so-called 'justice'. If they are just, then I'm proud to be a hell-spawned villain, ladies and gentlemen. I hope you agree."
