Yea Zigeris. That's way too complex for a space shooter. People wanting to play a new mod usually don't want to spend hours getting to know the basic ways of how that mod works. Use mobile suits as fighters and larger capships as dockable carriers for them to receive supplies on. If you'd want to you could even limit the flight time by making the weapons not require power, making the engines require lots of power, and not giving them an infinite power core.

It's come complicated if you want it to be. The basics are still the same it just allows those who want more out of it to access the gems of a more diverse settings.


I repeat the basics of the Freelancer Arcade Shooter is still the same.


As for the fighter/cap relationship ....again the basics of the Freelancer Engine are still the same. Yes player docking virtually the same as the model designed for current servers.


But there is expansions for those who want them.


Mobile Suits are limited in their range. You'll rarely ever see a lone MS flying around +10k from any ship, base, or sled. Unless they were stuck there after a battle and no one likes them enough to pick them up.


The Internal cores and equipment like that is already fitted and balanced. Again generic for those who want to just pick up and fly and more in depth for those who want to customize and hybrid mobile suits to suit their individual styles.



Factions are simple and straight forward. Same as acquiring various ships, get to know and be friendly with the right factions to get what you want.

I am currently working on Zeonic Company Cap ships finished the Gun Boat class patrol boat (UC0075) that can hold one mobile suit and is not big enough to take on Cruisers on it's own. Or could I suppose if the Captain...has balls the size of Africa. This Gun boat Class ship will be used primary as a pirate vessel as it's small and fast but powerful enough to take out any transport with ease. Plus the one Mobile Suit will be able to take on even smaller patrols.


I'm also reworking the MS-05B to fit and work with the attaching hooks.

Right now, due to the death of my main desktops, I am just creating meshes on my Vista Bomb Laptop. And not all in order more rather trying to get some custom suits finish to add to later installments.

RGM-79GM 30% Complete. ( Base Models to get everything scaled and tuned into the themes of the mod same goes for the Zaku and the Misai Patrol Boat)

Misai Patrol Boat 80% Complete. (UC0075 Zeonic Company Non published Original Design) (Stats: 4 Missile launchers, 1 double barrel beam cannon, 8 anti air turrets. Holds 1 Mobile Suit. Info: Created by the Zeonic Company as a recon vessel it was in rare production as Cruisers became the high importance production coming near to the One Year War. With it's fast and agile built the Misai Patrol Boat could get in and out of tight spots on the battle field or sustain long recon missions deep into enemy lines. Usually fitted with MS-05B the Misai's armaments would be consider light. The Misai Patrol Boat, named after the bigger cousin Musai - same engineer, was never refitted for combat use during the One Year War. After the One Year War Misai's were discontinued by Zeonic Company and are reverted use by pirates or Civilian Companies. Misai Patrol Boats are popular with Colony Police as they are small and cheap to maintain. However disputes of Pro Zeon designs makes them targets for Federation checkpoints and often Captains experience prejudice while commanding their Misai. -- Something like that <_< )

I had more stuff but limited on my Laptop. I am looking to get a new desktop within next few months that will be able to power house modeling programs.


What I need are the basic Mobile suits, Civilian Crafts, Bases, Military crafts and weapons created.


I am looking for someone on another website for Hook programming and other things. Slow as she goes I suppose.
