Yes, I look through the Communication Channels, Message Dumps and Stories subforum. If something seems interesting, I stop and take a look. It's something that makes playing her more entertaining - and can be useful for ingame and forum-sided stuff.

Eva's Diary is one of the, best stories here.

Hands down.

+1 for great justice.

Almost never read peoples' RP stories. Message dumps and comm channels (especially ones that don't involve me) are far more interesting.

Roleplay can and should be reflected in space. Know that I have no sympathy for people who expect a wall of forum text to justify inane actions ingame. I respect the fanfiction that this community works so hard on, but I am not a fan of fanfiction myself. If I want to read a book, that's exactly what I'll do. If I want to play a game, that's exactly what I'll do.

I'll always read whatever relates to my faction and my chars. Though I'll also read whatever seems interesting. <strike>Too bad Fletcher doesn't write anything interesting..</strike>

P.S. jk fletch, you know I'm here for ya man.:)

That's my statement:)
I'm still an inexperienced player when it comes to roleplay, so I read the texts that may spice up my texts (^_^)

Read them all and let memory sort them out.

I only read what I need to.

That'll be recruitment, communications and message dumps.

This is for 3 reasons mainly:

1. I'm lazy.
2. My memory is about as good at recall as a sieve is at holding water.
3. I am not confident in my ability to separate what I know about a character with how my character treats that character*

*Usually when I interact with a character I know of beforehand, at some point I ask myself "would I treat this character differently if I didn't know him/her". At this point, I already know the answer, as asking that question to myself means that the answer is yes. There is no chance for the answer to be no, because if that were the case, I would not need to ask the question in the first place.

As a related issue, I am generally annoyed by people who spam links to their RP feedback thread and/or make noises about how many views their RP threads have. My opinion is that an RP server is for people who like to RP, not for people who like their RP read by others. If you truly like to roleplay, then you wont be fussed about how many or how few people read your stuff.

Nah.

The roleplay here has taken a significant turn for the worse since 2008, especially after the self-congratulatory revolution hit the sub-forum.

I used to? Not anymore?

Yeah, that sums it up. I'd say I've written more than I've read (*glances sheepishly at postcount).
