Ladies, me and our leader, Ai Takeda were today called to Sigma13 by our Dragon brothers. As we came there, there were some Farmers and some Corsairs fighting against them. We recognized several Red Catamarans, and the Kana Keiko on the Dragon side. After we both joined the fight, we got support by some independant Dragon and allied fighters. A Farmer civilian bomber was the first to die. I then got a shot on a Fighter and he was gone, too. After this, i can't recall the past. I only know, that we killed a Bounty Hunter Capital ship, another Bomber, and then a Corsair Dreadnought came in. It concentrated it's fire on me. While it took my hull slowly out, it was brought down by our Bombers it was ignoring - bad for the commander. The Dreadnought was destroyed. The Kana Keiko needed to retreat as it's damages were critical. Same for me. Again a main conductor for the guns was broken, and i retreated for Kyoto. That happened the second time now! I'd suggest to the Dragon engineers to shield these conductors better.
After the repairs were finished, i moved out and taxed Aaron_Winternight and so got the repaircosts again. Moving back to Kyoto, i saw something strange: A Bretonian Armed Forces Destroyer! In Chugoku! The ship had several damages from heroic fights, after we both landed on Kyoto, they brought 2 Fleet Admirals, 7 Cruiser Commanders, 6 Gunboat Commanders and 33 Naval Pilots to their prison cells. If a single Destroyer can move till Kyoto, i think the KNF has big troubles out there in Tau31 and Tau29. Perhaps we will have a Bretonian Fleet in Kyushu in short?
Kaede over and out.

Could perhaps all the other members of the GC post here, at least we know then they are still out there? Geisha i see sometimes, Kuraine often, CorrupteD has problems to get FL running again, so he is excused, but i think there are others, too. *Looks to Warrien* Ok, you are in Vegas this week, and also (CO?)Leader of Bundschuh, but could you spent at least some time on your GC char? It is mentioned in your signature.
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.

Konichiwa Sisters,
I apologize for my recent stent of no communication. After a messy run in with a well armored Kusari Naval Patrol, I found myself in dire straits and was doing my best to contact you. I've been spending the past week and a half moving from station to station, stowing away on various cargo transports, until I could find a way to contact you.
I've now managed to make my way back home, but I am now without ship and without spirit. I think it is time that I take a break from my active duty in the sisterhood, and make my move towards a retired position.
I will keep an eye out for all of you from my quarters back home. It is to my disliking that this message comes to you now, at a time where we are all needed more than ever, but some things just have to happen.
-Sunao Kai

//Yeah, I've been horribly inactive recently, only popping on my char every few days. It's rare that I find any [GC] online, other than Kaede, but I usually run into him while I'm doing Bundschuh business. And, as mentioned, I'm 2IC of the Bundschuh, so I've placed a bit more allegiance there. I'll strip my fighter down and bring her to base so I can hand over the cash I've made from pirating, as well as the equipment, as they all belong to Kuraine. If you need anything from me, just PM me. I would, of course, be happy to leave the character be if you'd rather me just stay on a reserve basis. Just let me know!

Konnichiwa, sisters!
We attained a staggering victory for the Golden Chrysanthemum yesterday with our sisters Kaede Otori, Taii Shikyo and Kekujin, lead by myself. We did a patrol of Kusari through Kyushu, whereupon we taxed one trader and destroyed another by the callsign of Stang. We proceeded to New Tokyo, where we collected donations from at least eight other traders. A number of foolish cargo haulers refused to pay and we regrettably decided to destroy them. Obviously their lives are worth less than a little indignity of being hijacked.
Shortly thereafter, as we were disrupting trade lane systems leading to New Tokyo, a Farmer's Alliance ship dropped out of the trade lane, followed by two bounty hunter battlecruisers. It appears that the bounty hunters destroyed the Farmer's Alliance before starting on us. Needless to say, our three bombers and our gunboat made short work of the foolish hunters, and their debris is now settling nicely into orbit around New Tokyo. Finally, a good number of Samura vessels were destroyed and their cargo plundered to fund our efforts to reform Kusari!
All in all, an excellent day's work, i'm proud of you!
Additional: A trader with the callsign "TheBerg" has paid us 20 million credits for a week's protection. I expect you all to honour this and protect him whenever he is within GC territory. I also expect you to remind the NovaPG not to tax him please. I would appreciate your full co-operation with this, sisters.
Ai, Kurokawa, Shin and me flew through Kusari yesterday. We managed to tax some traders and to destroy the ones unwillingly to pay to us. Then a single KNF ship came to New Tokyo. It fought against Ai, Kurokawa and Shin. As i came to them from Planet NT, his chances to survive turned against zero, and Ai offered him an honourable retreat. How ever, he resigned and did fall after a while to my Dragonfly missiles. Kurokawa had to retreat after that, as he (yes, he's a male) runned out of Cardamine. We camped a bit at a Tradelane aftertwards, and returend to Ainu as we almost falled to sleep due to boredom

Greetings, sister!
Our pact with the NovaPG is nothing short of a full alliance. I fully expect every sister and brother within the Golden Chrysanthemum to aid, where necessary, any NovaPG. They are expected to help us as well. Also, to keep abreast of any traders that the NovaPG have specifically protected for a set period of time, and of any traders that we also are protecting for any set time period. They have full access to our systems, as we do to theirs, and our bases are open to each other also.
Also, on another note, I have signed a non-aggression treaty with the Colonial Remnant (=CR= tagged vessels). They are to be given access to our bases and guard system for passage and resupply. In exchange, we are given access to IMG bases for resupply and repair, and may pass through their guard system (Tau 44). We are not required to assist them if they are in difficulties, nor they us. But if they are endangered by any Corsairs or Harvesters or anything that is a direct enemy of the Golden Chrysanthemum, I expect you to help them as a courtesy.
If there are any additional traders that you feel should be added onto our "Don't Pirate" list, then forward their names to me in a private communication and I will endeavour to see that their transponders are registered in all GC IFF databanks. Any further questions, just ask.
Taisho Takeda out.

Konnichiwa, sisters,
Yesterday myself and Taii Shikyo travelled into Bretonia to meet with the Bretonian Police Authorities in the hopes of ratifying a mutual non-aggression treaty with each other, and perhaps even something greater. We handed over two captured Kusari admirals as a gesture of good faith, and Shikyo aided the Bretonian police in repelling a Corsair attack force that threatened New London.
Hopefully, this will lead to a greater understanding between the Bretonia government and the Golden Chrysanthemums, perhaps paving the way to an alliance in our mutual struggle against the despicable Kusari government and the Samura paymasters that effectively run it.

We received your comm relay and have perused the information, and as such we have agreed to place this "[Zoner]-m3rl1n" and his sister ship "m3rl1n" on our kill on sight lists ((All GC forces note that m3rl1n must still be given a monetary demand before firing due to being a trader, but make it 5 million credits)). We will give you any assistance necessary in dealing with this threat to our territory. Perhaps we should also make a mention of this to the Zoner Council.
On another note, I wish to congratulate Taii Shikyo on his considerable efforts, and henceforth he may consider himself to be promoted to Chusa, effective immediately. Well done, and don't let it go to your head, sister.

Quote:1) Who do you pirate? Trader IDed or all?
Anyone with a Trader ID and is over level 40 is subject to being robbed, regardless of your tag (since so many people can't seem to get the right one). Exceptions are sometimes made, but rarely.
Quote:2) What ship categories do you pirate? Do you pirate fighters carrying cargo?
All trading ship categories can be pirated. Any ships carrying Golden Chrysanthemum, Blood Dragon, Lane Hacker, Liberty Rogue, Outcast, Zoner or Bretonian pilots will be ordered to hand them over or be destroyed.
Quote:3) Do you tax empty running traders?
Yes. We don't care that they are running empty. That's their problem, not ours. We rarely see any empty traders though.
Quote:3a) If you tax them for a right of passage do you protect them? Or give them a time limit?
Normally we give them 2 hours free passage within the system they were pirated in, but if they were particularly troublesome then we might tax them each time we encounter them. Any ships who have paid for passage will be protected against people who are hostile to us, but if you are pirate by NovaPG etc, then we apologise but they require funds for their war efforts also.
Quote:4) If you use fee tables then state them here.
Monetary Demands By Level:
Level 40-50 = 100k - 1 mil depending on the trader and how co-operative they are in stopping etc.
Level 50-65 = 1 mil - 3 mil See Above.
Level 65-80 = 2 mil - 4 mil See Above.
Level 80-90 = 3 mil - 5 mil See Above.
Exceptions:
Military Vehicles: Due to the fact that the Kusari Navy pay higher than the Bretonian Armed Forces for such goods, they are all undoubtedly being shipped to our enemies. Anyone (above level 55) caught carrying them will be fined 4 million credits.
Artifacts: A fine of 6 million will be issued for anyone carrying artifacts, as these are funding the war efforts of the Corsairs and the Hogosha, who are also helping to prop up Samura and the corrupt government that it controls.
Allied/Friendly Pilots: Any ships carrying Golden Chrysanthemum, Blood Dragon, Lane Hacker, Liberty Rogue, Outcast, Zoner or Bretonian pilots will be ordered to hand them over or be destroyed. A fine of 1+ million credits will also usually be issued for the insult/damage incurred by the destruction of our allies' ships etc, depending on the severity of the offence.
Cardamine: Anyone carrying at least half a cargo hold full of Cardamine will be allowed to pass freely without being bothered, and will be assisted if they need it.
Slaves: Anyone found carrying slaves will be ordered to immediately drop them off at Ainu Depot for release and fined 4 million credits for such a despicable trade.
Synthetic Marijuana: The Golden Chrysanthemums are generally undecided on this as yet and do not really perceive it as a threat to Cardamine, so it is merely subjected to a 1 mil levy if a shipment is encountered.
Diamonds/Niobium: Anyone found carrying these are subjected to a 3 mil war levy as they prop up the economy of Kusari and by extension the corrupt Shogunate.
Luxury Consumer Goods/Light Arms: These goods are in high demand by the Golden Chrysanthemums, and anyone carrying them to Ainu Depot will be actively assisted.
Interspace/Bretonia: Any traders with Interspace Commerce ID & tag or any Bretonian shipping ID & tag will subject to only 50% of the normal monetary demand (determined by level).
Premium Payments: We have several premium payments that traders may choose to take advantage of for additional protection, as shown below:
10 mil - Protects you from piracy by the GC for a day.
20 mil - Protects you from piracy by the GC for a week.
65 mil - Protects you from piracy by the GC for a month.
150 mil - You are placed on our list of friendly vessels and permanently removed from being targeted for piracy. In addition it grants you the right to ask for GC assistance within our entire zone of influence at any time. We normally do ask the NovaPG to honour this agreement as well (though this depends on a case by case basis). We also in turn recognise any vessels that pay the NovaPG for permanent protection.

Konnichiwa, sisters,
As a show of strength for the Sisterhood, last night five of us managed to take and hold most of Kusari's systems each in turn, taking sizeable donations off charitable traders for our cause and destroying those who only saw fit to fill their and the Kusari government's purses. Additionally, we destroyed two fighter class vessels, including a Kusari navy pilot by the name of [KNF]-Souseki ((I think that was the name?)).
Samura and the Shogunate certainly felt the heat today, and hopefully we shall continue to press them this way until we get the political concessions and social change we have so dearly fought for all these centuries!
