the fact that u cant expect the hoster, to sit on his chair 24/7 waiting for the server to go down.
it just happends every now and than,so i,m sure it will be fixed.

A simple "heartbeat" monitor to check the status of the FL Server application could be ran. If/when it notices that the FL Server process has died, it could "immediately" startup the FL Server automatically. This might be easier to setup under a UNIX OS, I still think that this is something possible on a Windows Server or even Desktop OS.
Denial of Service attacks can be damned hard to take care of though...
