Oddly, when I went to reply to this thread, it threw up an alert, saying that "OMSXENCWAR.EXE", a file I have never heard of by the way, had this in it --> TrojWare.Win32.Trojan.Agent.Gen@-1.
Be careful out there people and check your PC's regularly for nasties like that.
I've had to restore 2 PC's because of AVG not doing its job properly. I've had Avast! for about 3 years now. And the only issue I've had was when I was dumb enough to forget to scan a .exe after downloading it.
I've been using Bit defender for the past year... but I'm most likely going to change. It's done its job all right at least I haven't had any issues. The only problem is its high resource usage and that definitely doesn't go well with this old machine.
I hear Nod 32 is great for older comps as well as it doesn't use up too many resources but still maintains good protection over the system
Thank you for your feedback i've <strike>Downloaded</strike> purchased the ESET Nod32 5
Works great and has nice features in it...doesn't harm my PC's performance while i'm playing games or running any other Full-Screen program...Doing it's job perfectly and i love it!
