9 times out of 10, the party that killed you will be fine with you staying there, unless you're a pirate, and want to keep pirating, and they were police, or some such thing.
That wouldn't be cool.
But a freelancer getting into a fight with another freelancer or someone over a bounty or w/e, they won't care if you stay most of the time.
"Transports/Freighters/Liners which have been killed in a PvP fight may return to the system in which they were destroyed but only for purposes of moving through the system or for trade within that system. They may only act in a purely defensive manner. This exemption applies only to players who are in the system for the purposes of trading and does not apply to mining, piracy or any other activity."
Just out of interest why is trading still allowed?
On a RP server why not policing for example? Faction Police seem relatively rare and on the whole use fighters. So all you need are a few pirate gunboats, of which there are many, target the 1 or 2 police and then 4 hours of freedom to do anything.
