[font=Times New Roman][color=#000000]Greetings, Mr. Vontaan.

The remainder of the repair crew has arrived and is currently on board Freeport 10.

But, I am afraid I have just received some worrying news, My staff - including Mr. John Doe, President of Deep Space Engineering, were attacked within the NFZ of Freeport 10 by an independent Outcast under the call-sign 'Dark_Energy'.

Unfortunately, he decided to fire on some Zoner vessels, and has some pilots being held captive that my crew were unable to get off him. None of our vessels were destroyed, as they managed to reach what they thought would have been the safety of Freeport 10, and perform emergency docking procedures before the Outcast did any harm to my crew. There were shots fired at the station from this Outcast's ship, as you will see in the attached images.

For safety reasons, I have called off all work on the station until my staff have undergone medical checks to ensure they are not hurt and/or suffering from shock.

I have attached the appropriate images below, and I require some insurance for my staff to ensure them they will be safe while on the job. I am sure you can understand why, considering this was, for many of them, their first day on Freeport 10.
  • Attachment #1 - Firing upon DSE) Ships
  • Attachment #2 - Firing upon Zoner ships/Presidents vessel with hull damage
  • Attachment #3 - Firing upon Zoner Ships
  • Attachment #4 - Zoner pilots being held captive/shooting Freeport 10
If you have any further enquires, please contact me and I will see what I can do to assist with this.

Madame Doe

Thank you for bringing these to my attention. I will be dealing with these reports very diligently. To reassure your employees and Mr Doe Freeport 10 is a very strict Freeport. We do not permit visitors carrying firearms of any sort with in the station, for which lockers are provided for in the Hangers. Brawling is also not tolerated. In the event of breach's we ask the breacher to leave the station after paying a fine of 5 Million Credits. If the refuse they will be arrested, and shot out of the airlock unless they now wish to pay the fine and leave the station. If shots are fired, anyone seen carrying a fire arm will be shot, with our shoot to kill policy. These are harsh, but those that frequent Freeport 10 are not the normal civil types, though we have no qualms servicing their needs.

We have the best medical staff at our disposal and I would like to extend our medical service's to you, for which the standard ones are free of course. More complex procedures will cost credits of course. And if you have any employee requiring a new organ we can certainly do that cheaper than any such operation would be in the Houses.

Thank you for bringing the incident directly to myself. I look forward to the station running smoothly in the near future.

Greetings.

Your medical services are incredible. My staff are back working on the station. Iris has been found again, and all is going smoothly.

John Doe was called away for an urgent meeting, and has been replaced by Saber Nyoki.

Please find the damage assessment report attached below:

I dispatched Saber to check out Biodome 2, as I went to take a look at Biodome 1. It was not long before I found out there is a Turret jammed on the far side (seen from the sun) of the Biodome 1. It will need to be detached and reinstalled. Further scans show the turret is still in good state, so it won't need a replacement.
Jammed Turret

After a few routine checks of the station, we could start summarizing several points of interest.
Also, seen in this holographic image is the vessel 'Bipolar' asking me to take a look at his gas pumps. I took a look-see and fixed the problem for him. I believe this small problem resulted in the transfer of some 'goods' between the 'Bipolar' and-- *sudden interruption*.... *reconnecting* ''Yes yes Iris, it's all good''
*coughs* Here is the summary
Summary

Further on I found a broken light that needs to be replaced
Broken Light

After a brief check on the Main Column of Freeport 10 (this is standard procedure at a station of the 'Freeport' type) We found that the Communication Antenna on top of the station was still intact.
Antenna

Shortly after that we could conclude that the Column has not taken any severe damage.
Column

We were almost done, when Saber's keen eye found a small curve in a piece of metal at the base of one of the tunnels leading to the Docking area. We suspect it has suffered at least a Capital Class Mortar impact.
Mortar Impact

After almost 40 minutes, the assesment of all damage to the station was completed. I docked on the station, and so did Saber, and started filing this report immediatly.
End of the day

End of Attachment

It would appear Freeport 10 is in rather good shape. Please be aware the 'Panel beating' of the Docking area, and reinstalling the jammed turret, although it may sound simple, will be a time consuming job. Because of this, I will be bringing an additional repair ship up, piloted by myself to assist in the repairs.

We will complete these repairs and another damage assessment report to ensure we have not missed anything before installing the new solar panel.

Thank you for your reports. I have been keeping a closs eye on the issue of when one of your pilots went missing. May I ask yourself to explain what happened? As I have found it hard to read the reports myself.

Yes the outside of the station is rather, ok. The internal areas are another matter, though our own repair staff are getting those fixed in a timely manner. Least your team is not involved in those operations, except in connecting outboard systems to the internal systems, and the shield of course.

Sorry I am babbling, forgive me.

I will be keeping a close eye over the proceedings.

Greetings.

I am not entirely sure as to what happened when one of my pilots went missing, I believe it was a combination of shock from the attack, and perhaps more freedom on Freeport 10 then there is back on Baltimore Station. She has been found safe and well, thankfully, and has been reminded to let myself or another staff member know where she is if there is a reason for her to leave in the future.

Also, a final repair ship has arrived at Freeport 10 to ensure we have enough man power to complete the job in the time given.

Dear Mrs Doe

Thank you for your update. It was most interesting to read. I am hopeful in that it will be able to be operated for some time with little difficulty after your operations have been completed. A fully operation station is something that the whole 200 populace will be looking forward to, as well as many of its visitors.

Yours faithfully

[font=Times New Roman][color=#000000]Greetings.

Some more work has been completed, the shields have been repaired, and the solar panel detached ready for the new one to be installed. Please find the log of the pilot in charge of today's work below:

[font=Times New Roman]<span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%]Greetings,

I took DSE)Tech-10 out for a spin, some work on the shields of the station. Diagnostics showed a minor fault in the tower of the station, which I managed to repair easily.
  • Begining testing
  • Diagnosing the problem
  • Assessing damages
  • Beginning repairs
  • Re-Diagnosing to ensure repairs are complete
  • Plan for the shield while working on the solar panel
Everyone was good, and didn't use the docking bays while the shield was deactivated, and a few friendly Outcast's didn't cause any trouble. There was a well timed fight. Just after reactivating the shields, a rookie Outcast took a shot at the station, and I am pleased to say, there was no damage and the shield was working at 100%, a big improvement from before the repair.
  • Fight around station, shield worked perfectly
  • Full Station scan
An IMG offered escort back to the jump hole, I declined as I was waiting for a Heavy Lifter, DSE)Tech-1, to arrive to begin work on the solar panel.

The Heavy Lifter docked to pick up the parts needed, and I removed the shield on the solar panel to begin un-installing it.
  • Removing shield on th solar panel
After the Heavy Lifter un-docked, we began un-installing the solar panel, ready for removal. We can only show minimal images, to protect the stations design from potential vandalism and attacks, I am sure you understand.
  • Time of begining of removal
  • Begining of uninstallation
  • Attaching lifter arms to Solar panel
  • Slow process of moving the solar panel away from the station
We needed to leave the solar panel un-attached while the new one was being constructed.

There is now minimal work left to be done, and it is looking like we may be able to complete the task a few days earlier then expected.

[font=Times New Roman][color=#000000]Greetings.

I apologise for the delay in completing the work required on Freeport 10.

The staff assigned to this job had to temporarily return to Baltimore without warning as one staff member was acquiring and supplying a person of management with cardimine laced tobacco.

Once the employee responsible was identified, the remaining staff returned to finish the job - which I am happy to inform you is now complete.

I am waiting for a final report from our engineers to review, once I receive this, I will send it through to you on this channel as per usual.

Once again, apologies for the delay.
