It's alright. In my opinion better than Untitled, by far. Korn 3 is like a comeback for me, still, the last "punch" is somewhat missing. I'm still hoping.
as for kill the noise, i liked him better when he still called himself ewun and made decent broken stuff.
korn ... i'm not even going to comment on that.
funny when people do music based on what's currently 'in' and not stick to what they know. artistic evolution of an individual/group, sure... odd conincidence? i don't think so.

How am I going on what's currently "in" ? I grew up with the old tracks of Korn, your point ? Hell, I don't even like electronic music, I still think the experiment is sort of successful. I don't like Skrillex either, apart from that I know nothing about dubstep simply because I don't care about it so much.
Still don't get what you want, though. If 'ya don't like Korn, why bother posting ?
no its not that. i think korn as artists used to be great, but they whored themselves out with this. something that used to stand out just stepped back to be part of the templated crowd. it's a different template, but it's still a very common template.

Same here about Korn III.
Hoping? The new drummer is GREAT, but without Head and with JD's attitude to make this band as HUGE as possible it won't happen. I'm afraid the last "punch" will be always missing.
I know these guys LOVE to experimentalise but I do believe that this 'dubstep thing' is only for the purpose of getting new, young fans and being part of something that's very popular on the music market now.
They wanted to experiment with it. JD is a DJ (see what i did there), too, so he thought it might be an interesting idea for a musician. I don't dig it, I can't really get into the whole dubstep thing, but I still respect it for what it is, an experiment.
Korn is actually trying to get away from this particular template. Bunch of bands tried to be like them, almost copied their style. They experimented a lot just to stay unique, what they will always be in my opinion.
But anyway, I'm an oldschool fan, with a little bit of hope that they get back what they do best, doing freaky nu metal.
Edit: @ jack: Dunno', Ray isn't a valuable member in my opinion. His style doesn't fit Korns music, he can't write for crap.

In my opinion they KILLED freaky nu metal with their "Follow the leader" album. Was this nu? Sure. Was this freaky? HELL YEAH! Was this metal? In 25 % mayby.... Comparing to "Life is Peach" where you got your face smashed with massive riff at the very beginning of almost every track, FtL was "nice and easy":PDon't get me worng, I LOVE this album now, but when I first heard "Got the life" I was like WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF?:P
And I disagree about Ray. Sounds great both studio and live, very creative on III album, but that's just my opinion.
