I heard you can use whatever you want,on whatever you want (as long as yr ID allows it) cos the idea was to reduce admin paperwork for sanctioning people who dont have permission. It will just be useless in a fight.

I have been generally told the same thing but I would like an admin to give us a full explanation on the rules now governing this as right now this whole thing is unclear . Right now i have a Havok bomber with a incompatible tec notice and it seems to be because I have a freelancer ID (I tried removing all other equipment and still got the notice)
Also it said reduced to 90% but near as I can tell, it was really reduced to 60% because it takes 18 seconds now between SNACs when before it was 10 (checked the other guns and they correlate to a 40% power reduction, not 10%)

You've never been able to fire SNACs once every ten seconds.
Maybe ten seconds after the first you could fire a second, but you certainly couldn't fire them constantly once every ten seconds.
"[8:21:47 PM] Corey (Gheis): Second, yes, all tech is open use by the rules. That's why the autonerf system was implemented. Tech chart is no more than a guide now. Treat that as the rule"
So to answer your question: YES, you can mount tech you didn't ask permission for. You SHOULD however support your load-outs with previous supporting Role Play. Expect to get pounded by whatever factions you take from if they don't want you to have it, and of course expect an energy nerf.
