I think Igiss or someone mentioned at some point that with each version of Discovery 2 years pass in game. As such,

814 when 4.84 arrived,
815 still 4.84
816 when 4.85 arrived,
817 still 4.85
818 now, it started 9 days ago with the release of the mod.
819 still 4.86
820 release of 4.87

and so on and so forth.

EDIT: Point is, there probably no relation to real time years. If 4.87 gets released next month, still 2 years will pass in game.
