I saw 3 transports yesterday...none of them moved at the same time, none talked at the same time, all of them were the same ship and all had the same light scheme with VERY similiar names...
One would start to move and talk, and the others would just stand still...it was very strange. I saw no way to prove it though, so meh.
one player on 3 PC?
seems like powertrader of 80 level...

I finish miner off, but lose to GB. He swaps back to his tranport, and the miner swaps to another mining char breaking 4 hour dead rule. Now how can you prove this with screens. All you can see is the 1 char vanish, and new one replace it.
ADMIN input would be most welcome. As this is just latest incident i seen off this. But have no idea how to prove it.
You yourself can't. You can post timestamped screenshots and voice your -suspicion- that these two characters are the same player. Something that is very easy for an admin to find out from logs and server vault. As to that 3 on 1 player - it's most amusing if you get a friend to shoot one transport (slowly, just playing with it) and have someone else continue to RP with the other, forcing the person to divide their attention...

and nobody is sanctioned for it, go figure... maybe I oughta dig up those really old posts with admins and moderators discussing the best multiboxing methods

By pirating multiple ships you ruin the day of only one person. This situation has lower "angry player" per "pirated ship" ratio therefor a general improvement for the community. I approve of this, sir.
i say that they(devs&admins) must put an id adress for any acounts/chars.
As you know ip adress dont change. So you can track them. And sadly we have 4.87 in hand.
To me myself and you : deal with it!

If I'm not mistaken, many people have a dynamic ip address, meaning it changes every so often (perhaps by choice as well), so I really don't think that would work.
As far as the multi-boxing, IIRC, it is LEGAL for a Hegemon player to mine, go to Graves (for example), then alt-tab, start another disco freelancer, load a diff account transport, and move the ore to the trader.
However, one must immediately log said transport (or the hegemon), once the transaction has taken place.
