Valkyre is pointless

Just touching back on the comment that Wraith is like a HF. Did some test flying and damage output with all class-9 weapons is about on par with what I expect from a HF, especially since the rear turret is rarely used. However the handling is still a VHF, a bit better than some other VHF but it's no Sabre or Talon, nevermind a Bayonet. I still have not tested the Vakyre handling and don't plan to.

I would support Rheinland getting a different VHF that had more damage output. That doesn't mean the Wraith is a good HF platform, it is way over powered on defenses, and handling is all wrong.

Slightly off-topic, but the Valkyrie is spelled both ways in vanilla, so given we don't know how DA intended it to be spelled, both are correct.

Or both are wrong and it was meant to be spelled 'Ugly-ass ship'.:smile2:

If you could use the Wraith properly, 1 gun more or less wouldn't be a problem. I'm not against another Rheinland HF/VHF, but leave the Wraith. I personally wouldn't sacrifice it's agility for an extra gun.

Except it has class-10 turrets, 30% more hull, 30% more bats and bots, and 30% more powerplant than other HFs.

I have not compared handling yet, I assume it's good based on the reports

I dont think that RM need HF at all... It have LF,VHF,SHF and 2 bombers. and another snub? why? take any civilian HF if you REALLY need it. dont spam ships like ant-queen ants :|

I still don't understand why disco couldn't simply buff the valkyrie instead of adding a new ship that looks exactly the same, but with better stats. (Same goes for the Defender, Dragon, Stiletto and so on)
