Have you tried it in 4.86? Missiles are almost useless now unless server is dead. 100 players or more, and they do not hit. I got one, and it pretty much sucks now.

Not to mention it looks damn silly to watch.
Just to give a warning, Im a bit of a star wars geek.
The Immobilizer 418 cruiser is just the technical name, Its true title is Interdictor Star Destroyer. Its main purpose isnt to Immobilize, It is to prevent ships from entering hyperdrive by the use of 4 massive gravity wells. This ability has a wide range. Anyone with in that range is trapped. 1 is bad, 2 is a nightmare, 3, well thats just plain overkill. If Discovery mod had this, now outlaws would be safe. Surrounded but these ships would mean pirates and outlaws are at the mercy of the military. If they do impliment this and you are caught, do as they say and you might be released.
EK isnt just some random crap, if you use force to propel yourself in zero G you'll keep going, with thrusters on different sections of the ship this allows for the ship to turn... Basic physics.

For those who dislike engine kill, may I suggest not hitting the 'z' key?
As far as the interdictor mechanic goes, one of the key things I understand about Interdictor-style ships is that their anti-jumpdrive generators create a constant field for as long as their are active. A huge AoE invisible CD would not have the same effect. CDs disrupt cruise for a mere fraction of a second which is sufficient to keep a ship in place due to the charge up time of a ship's cruise engine, whereas a interdiction field is a constant effect that would not just disrupt a cruise engine, but prevent it from even initiating cruise charge up while within the blast radius. If we wished to replicate the interdiction effect to heart, we would need to implament a huge AoE invisible CD with a near instantanious refire and (perhaps) no ammo limitations. To be honest, though, I think such a mechanic would work better if we didn't try to replicate the continuous interdiction effect, but rather stuck to the idea of a normal CD with a huge AoE and an invisible blast radius (And, perhaps, near zero range.)
