But, to the point, it's a nice model, don;t get me wrong, but it does seem to strike me as more fitting to the BHG shipline than the civilian one. Perhaps try making it wider-winged and shorter-nosed, and raising the outer wings into an eagle-like shape?
Overall, it wouldn;t seem out of place though, I'm just saying it could be made to fit better.
Maybe I can try on a new attempt, just had an IDEA! Good thought!

Considering a freelancer can earn enough to builld a base (according to barrier gate lore)
I think a GB wouldn't be far fetched?
I mean, that way some merc groups who can probably afford em after a while can have one or the other odd GB..
And yeah, +1 on the sentiments for rounding it out.
This is very box-y.
It looks like one of the yachts cut into just the cargo space and a smaller cockpit, like this.
O-O, now thats a nice model right there matey, lucky lane hackers:)
On the civ gunboat/ship model, looks nice and i agree to round it of a bit. Looks like a mount for a forward gun there on the nose but i think a civ model shouldnt have one. They look nasty anyway:)
Aet said he was looking for a light CTE-Gunship for civilians and this looks like a step in the right direction. Something simple yet efficient. As someone suggested already, perhaps shortening the nose and making it a bit rounder would fit the mold better. Also, if you can, move the front two gun mounts to the sides of the nose and place the disruptor on the bottom front of the nose.
